Creatine

is it safe? I'm hearing people say can lead to liver and kidney issues.

>I'm hearing people say can lead to liver and kidney issues.

Are any of them linking any studies that definitively prove this?

Of course not. I've probably used 5 lbs of the stuff and never had any issues with it, but that was probably six years ago. I was thinking of getting back on it (ON creatine monohydrate) and noticed a lot of people freaking out about it online.

according to scooby it contains toxins that your liver has to filter out, and if you take in too much toxins (in your nutrition in general), yes, you get liver issues, because it is overwhelmed.
just don't drink alcohol at all while taking creatine and you're fine

Only if you live in 'Murica.

EU has much stricter laws for that shit, so no toxins here.

...

Na brah
Creatine is suicide
Call god & tell him ur ass is coming

Don't do it if you care at all about your hairline

Kreatine killed my brother. rip

MODS

Is creatine even worth it? How beneficial is it,

>those hamstrings

just drink more water, people who experience that shit are dehydrated. That's basically every kidney issue ever.

Don't do creatine if ur not ready... this thread belongs in /fraud/

Creatine is great.

Fuck the idiots in this thread. It's just a /fit meme.

>not even once etc.

Creatine will improve your performance about 5-10% depending on which source you quote.

I went for a while without it then started it up again and blew past my plateaus.

I read online that caffeine and creatine shouldn't be taken together because they cancel each other out in terms of effects

Actual conversation with my mother's friend

>"hey little buddy I heard you work out. What do you use?"
>uh, I use my schools gym
>"no I mean like pre-workout, protein, or stuff like that"
>oh, I use whey protein and creatine
>"little bro, be careful with that stuff"
>"I had friends back in early 2000s using that stuff, and nowadays I talk to them and they ALL tell me about their kidney problems"
>"that stuff will mess you up man"
>"all you gotta use is this natural test booster"
>"not that steroids stuff, but just test booster you can get legally"
>alright thanks for the information, I'll keep note

Didn't know what else to say

examine.com says no

test boosters are a scam though

yep. The point of my post was to imply he did not know what he was talking about

Absolutely. Only ways to boost test belong in /fraud/ or a "natural test booster" is to increase your cholesterol and healthy fats, as that naturally increases it, along with lifting heavy.

Took it. Didnt notice a difference. Stopped taking it. Also didnt notice a difference. Wasted $10 who gives a fuck

WebMD says minimal creatine use hurts your liver and prolonged use will effectively kill your liver and kidneys

Man, who needs girls when you have examine.com...

No, all memes aside though it does lead to an increase of DHT in your body, although the mechanism for how it does this is unknown. But anyway DHT is the chemical responsible for hair loss assuming you have the genetic predisposition for MPB

Whenever I see someone use the word

>toxin

in casual speak it makes me want to not listen to their advice at all.
