The news at the conference appears to be the unveiling of partnerships. There are (even better) announcements that will come days after due to the rise from the conference that will turn this into the 2nd highest Market Cap in Crypto (that could legitimately compete with the Market Cap of Bitcoin in 2018)

Have heard similar rumors (not disclosing source, idgaf if people believe or not) involving some major upcoming partnerships.
