to make manifest the will and vision of the courageous Mongol Genghis

Timur was Muslim.

To try to kill even more humans then Genghis

>*knock* *knock*
>"Wake up Beyi, it's time for your prostate inspection"

POOR LITTLE OTTOMAN BOY

>WE'VE TAKEN CONSTANTINOPLE WE ARE INVINCIBLE THIS IS THE END OF THE WH*TE CHRISTIANS
>get captured and anally raped by Persians every day
Justice.

Continuing the "Islamic Golden Age". Or rather, priving there was a Golden Age then a decline is a myth. And it worked. All crafts and sciences were practiced in one great capital (where Islam was predominant over Buddhism, Shamanism and Christianity). The Persian and Mongol high culture was refined and this became the basis of royalty everywhere since then.

The most amazing part was that they did nothing wrong doing it too.

Bayezid was captured before the fall of Constantinople.

>The most amazing part was that they did nothing wrong doing it too.

>Persians

Timur was Uzbek Turkic

Anatolian Turks sided with Timur because they hated Ottomans

Timur even let Turks who sided with him form their ex-sultanates in Anatolia (Karamanid etc)

what are you even on about, wh*Te boy?

Are you quoting out of agreement or disagreement?

>Murdering People
>Not wrong

Do you have proof that they did that?

Timur ultimately saw himself as a Muslim Gazi out to revive the glory of Islamic Persia.

His only reference to Genghiz was to achieve more than he did. With Islam this time.

There's a square in Damascus still named for the pyramid of skulls that Timur built there when he conquered the city, so yeah I know they did that.

>tfw Timur didn't get to fulfill his dream of invading Ming dynasty China

Nah, he would've failed.

Ming dynasty was at its fullest military might and the Yongle Emperor, a military genius and expert Steppenig remover, ruled China at the time.

I never said he'd conquer it.
I just think it would have made for great reading in the modern age.

Either way, if it happened, it would've probably resulted to the largest war on the planet at the time if Ming China and Timur's Empire ever came to grips.

Rarely was China invaded by foreigners when its unified. Even vaunted Genghiz Khan invaded china when it was split into 3.

So war and people dying from war means murder. I see.

>Killing noncombatants
>Not murder

Pick one

You said skulls. How do you know they were non-combatant?

Tamerlane is modern.

Bump

>People in this thread actually think that timur was not poisoned by the chinese

You can't fit an entire pyramid of skulls in one square, bull shit. Where are the bodies?

Seems unlikely

why so?

>Mongol high culture
so, LARPing as persian?

He was old when he died and its more likely that he simply died of old age.

>Mongol high culture

youtube.com/watch?v=5tVGei24TdQ

>this isn't high culture

It's literally on top of the world.

The Mongols in Persia adopted Turkish. They speak Azeri. Azerbaijanis are basically Persians that were forced to adopt Turkish and were raped by Mongols. The Mongols completely integrated with them. That is why Nader Shah believed he was descendant of Ghengis even though he was Azeri Turkish.
