Op here, I would just focus on lifting heavier and heavier weights. When first starting out, I find people get too caught up in cutting and bulking. Continue to lift weights and you will gradually see results. It's slow, but you need to stay consistence and trust the process.

Been lifting seriously for ~3 years now, but took a 4 month hiatus about a year and a half back that really set my behind. Lost nearly all the progress I had made up until that point. Pic is from when I had started lifting again (about a year and. A half ago) and how I look now.

I've been really focused on eating clean the last 4 months, and I truly believe that's what has helped me look as shredded as I do. Not at all trying to be a cocky asshole (I still have a ways to go for where I want to be), but trying to stress how vitally important a good diet is. I used to think I could out train my diet, and that unfortunately isn't the case

Breakfast is a banana, 2 packets of oatmeal, and now I've added in a protein shake.

Lunch is a Thai chicken crunch from just salad here in NYC

Dinner is a free for all, usually some sort of chicken dish + carbs.

Only thing that kills me are the weekends where I drink 12 beers / vodka sodas.

My rule of thumb: no soda / juices, black coffee, and no fast food. i still have my cheat meals, but i try my best to limit them to MEALS and not days

I have had a lot of trouble developing my chest, what's worked for me lately is focusing on squeezing exercises vs the traditional pushing movements everyone associated with a big chest (aka BB bench).

Scooby has been my inspiration and source of information for my of my time lifting, so id definitely suggest reading / watching a lot of his content

I think my main issue is that I have a pigeon chest at rest so when doing a double bicep pose they just fly away ( excuse the pun) but I will work more on incline bench and as you said working more on the squeezing excerises

I bulked hard like 68kg to now 77kg, most people would say keep bulking and they would be right, but desu with you lad cutting first and bulking after is the way to go. Much easier to see progress, higher test from low BF, don't look like shit etc.

Cut until you lifts stall - as in keep putting the weight up every other session till you really can't hit it with good form, then bulk nice and gently and make decent lean gains coupled with strength.
