I think there's a difference between being an average run of the mill guy genetically and not having a deadlift over 180kg in 2 years training. I mean, it's actually a-cause-of-concern bad.
Skills test is in a few weeks so hopefully I'll have webms that break all of those numbers. Deadlift isn't looking good though
It's not genetics, just shitty training. I hit 3 plate in about 5-6 months of training then did 1x3 for a year and barely progressed due to analysis paralysis.

So, the key to gaining bigger is doing more volume, right? If you gain slight myofibrillar hypertrophy by sets up to 8 reps, can you add back-off sets with 6-8 reps to squeeze in more volume in each workout?
What if you do 3-5 sets of 3-6 reps at rpe9 and then deload? Will you get bigger gains?
If specificity is the key, why not just do mock meets every single session?
