not a home gym, it's a puregym and when I deadlift 315 for reps everyone starts bertstaring me, I want to move gyms but the rest of them in my area are not open 24 hours which is a big problem

315lb and yes I know i'm weak as fuck, but that's the point i'm trying to convey, commercial gyms are a whole new level of ridiculous, the fact that people are staring when i'm lifting pussy weight is really demotivating, but sadly there are no better gyms around my area

im literally the only guy who deadlifts in my gym. i kinda know this feel.

I'm glad that while my gym has a lot of skellys it feels like people embrace the free weight area. There's 3 squat racks and basically always 2 of them are in use. There's also somebody deadlifting half the time. I've seen nobody DL even close to anything that isn't bitch weight but still at least they're doing it.

because I don't feel like i'm able to improve on my lifts as easily, I become complacent because wherever I look, people are lifting bitch weight and using machines, it's not a good look and it messes with me mentally

I kinda know this feel, I only have a 3.5pl8 DL for a few reps and I have actually never seen anyone DL over 2.5pl8 in the gym. Most of them DL less than 2pl8 if they ever do it. I dont get what the point of DL pussy weight is but these people seem to think it works wonders apparently.
