Semi related to thread question I have for you guys. What are your staple meals? I'm 18 (almost 19) live with my parents, and don't prepare my own food or buy the food we eat. My mom works at an old folks home or something making food so she brings some extra shit from there and the sporadic buying of whatever they think we might be missing. What all around good foods should I try to shill them to start buying that wouldn't be too expensive? They're cheap as fuck. Maybe some good cheap protein source without added carbs or fats, I think for carbs maybe rice and bread for sandwiches would be good? And fats I'm honestly not too worried about cuz im sure with whatever you guys recommend and what I eat in my daily life will have enough fat. If you know foods that have mostly or completely unsaturated fats that would help too though.
>TLDR
Need good example cheap foods for protein/carbs/fats/nutrients that I can start buying and making meals with
my grocery list for tomorrow:
5 cans of sardines
3 packs of sliced chicken breast (150g each)

You forgot to add something to sip
Are you sure whole milk? We usually get 2% and that seemed pretty good to me desu idk
Whole is more bang for your buck imo. But can drink 2% or even almond if you want.
Just don't be a phaggot and get skim
i still have enough fat on myself
Mhm, like Redbull Zero perhaps?
>what are hormones
No memes you'll literally have low test on a consistent low fat diet
It needs to be super low fat for that to start happening. The sardines alone are going to be enough to avoid that in most cases.

>Falling for the organic meme
>no steroids
I'm not falling for any meme. I've read up on organic studies and I agree a lot of the common health claims are bullshit.
Nevertheless, I've noticed that a lot of organic vegetables taste better than non-organic. That's why I buy them.
there's also enough fat in the dead cow and dead bird products despite being lean to reach the required fat levels.
no fat is bad, I am aware of that.
Hot pockets, Ramen, and sparkling water

It's an ethical thing. I'm not even up to date with the latest new-age hipster pseudo-science diet bullshit.
Never buy light variaties, if the calories and such are an issue just drop the product all together

Posting in here because I don't think the question deserves it's own thread.

CVS has these for $1.99 if you're ever in there.
When there on sale they're 2/$3.00 with you're ExtraCare card.
Not too bad, especially if you're in there picking up a prescription.
And if you're picking up your 10th prescription, you'll get $5 in ExtraBucks back, making it virtually free.
