Anyone (Especially Britbongs) have experience buying meat from a butchers rather than a supermarket? Is it cheaper? Any cheap cuts you'd recommend? Is buying shit like liver/kidneys/heart a good idea?

No it's not cheaper you retard.
Why the fuck would it be cheaper?
Was fit always this hateful?
Why not?
Roid rage duh
Fucker
yes
Uh because supermarkets operate on the principle of having large chains and selling large quantities of, in general, lower-quality food so they can sell things for cheaper due to their buying power and the lower quality of the goods being sold.
But i thought supermarkets bought their meat from the butchers?
You fucking dumb mate? They buy it from factories.
So can I buy it from the factories?
Friend of mine that is a butcher told me chicken breasts tend to come from the same places.
If you buy enough, yes
Nevermind, I decided that from now on my diet will only consist of soylent, estrogen supplements and cum.
Wish me luck in my transition, friends!
can't look at that pic without hearing MONORAIL
MONORAIL
MONORAIL
I live less than a block away from the butcher shop that makes the pepperoni they eat on The Trailer Park Boys, two pounds for $9, its a god damn dream.
Why do all butchers have that same stocky, hammy look to them? They always have that look, including the four or five I've seen irl.
i prefer supermarket so I can use self serve then I dont have to deal with humans.
supermarkets put these guys out of business.
butcher is better quality though and some people will pay a little extra for that.
It can be cheaper for the quality you get. I go to stores near me that almost exclusively sell pork. A German one and a Romanian one. If I got stuff that quality in a store, it'd cost 50 to 100 percent more. I went to the Romanian one before the family went on vacation and the guy gave me like 60 bucks of meat for under 20 (loading up for a big family dinner.)
>Why do all butchers have that same stocky, hammy look to them?
Because they stock ham
You won't get as much water out of your chicken breasts like you do from supermarkets. I also like the fact that you don't have large plastic trays to get rid of, the butcher will normally give you it in bags. It's worth asking if they do a 5kg tub of chicken breast, my local butcher does this for 20 bongs. It's like a washing up bowl full. Good luck on your quest
I'm gonna need you to not do that
if it's a central big butcher shop then it will be less costly than the supermarket
i go to the downtown central shop area where they have a butcher shop and a fish shop and both sell in large quantities so they are cheaper than the supermarket
