If squats are most important then why are powerlifters so bad at jumping usually. What seperates them from people like Bradley Martyn who have insane hops.
Easton White
Do a proper fitness routine and practice jumping high.
Henry Walker
Because powerlifters are fat fucks who aren't lean. They also don't train for it.
Henry Parker
as long as your squats aren't grindy they should help with your vert. A lot of powerlifters can't jump because their sport doesn't require (though often it is benefitted by) explosiveness. Oly lifters can jump like maniacs though
>going from 38 inches to 43 inches is not a HUGE improvement Kys tard
Liam Adams
>almost half a foot >not a significant improvement
Aaron Hill
Nigga you said it incrased your ablility to move mass. You literally proved yourself wrong with your own post
Sebastian Brown
>by your logic if you can keep training vertical jumps then you can just jump to the fucking moon
Jeff pls go
Carson Ortiz
Powerlifters have a lot of "torque" but not high enough intensity to high jump.
Nolan Walker
Did i say diminishing returns dont exist? Or did i say you can train and develop explosivity? I felt like i said the latter, not the former >hurr you cant just add weight to your squat. By that logic you just keep adding 5lbs until you can squat the weight of the moon That is how retarded you sound
>implying you can train and improve squat strength If you don't squat 3pl8 your first day, you are a geneticlet and not gonna make it
Elijah Martin
powerlifters squat lowbar, thats why they cant jump
Mason Parker
>he sounds adding lbs to your squat will increase a vertical jump
Weeew...boi
Daniel Lopez
>increasing the force your legs produce doesn't affect jumping ability Wew lad
Joseph Gonzalez
Don't forget about body composition OP.. to be an athletic person you can't hold on to much fat, you have to be atleast below 12% bf.... sub 10% is ideal tho
