You can post here about your journey to become strong, as long as you intend to step up on the platform in an ipf-affiliated meet.

I will say my poor diet and lack of sleep affected my ability to recover after my workouts more so than the program itself since my bench and even weighted pull ups has suffered from poor lifestyle. My forearms and wrists have been having pain too.

I don't mean I'm powerlifting weak. I'm normal weak. Like sub 2/3 plates on squats and dl. I know the only answer is time and effort, I'm not really complaining. I'd just be wasting people's time on the platform is all.

As a spotter/weight loader and spectator, weak people competing are just a waste of everyone's time on a pl meet.
You can build a total in the gym fine, and then compete when you're actually competitive.

Since Feb last year. To be fair I've taken numerous fairly long breaks from squats and deads because my back and hips and kinda shit and I've had some back injury flare up about 4 times, so it's not that I've failed to gain strength in those lifts, I've just never successfully done even a novice linear progression with them due to inconsistency/injury. I'd say I have about 8-12 months legit training under my belt total. So you can see how weird and pathetic I am: 75/102.5/132.5 and yes that's sbd. Would you honestly think someone like that should be on the platform and not just in the gym?

What country are you from? Sounds like you don't have a very proactive and encouraging sports culture.

Wednesday
Bench 4x8-10 start very easy add 2.5kg weekly

Friday
Doubles up to 85% pr by 2.5kg when possible followed by board presses or slanger for 3x2-3 as heavy as possible

It calls for dips at 70%, I just assumed it was weighted dips. However Sheiko has no weighted dips, and the demo is unweighted dips

Well what people always say on here is to have a single session a week where you work up to a top set of 5. That would make it a volume session ye.

I somehow want to have 2 sessions though.
Maybe one where I get some volume in and one where I do peaking sets of 2s or 3s?

Progressive volume styles can be organised like that. Hepburn being the most known, but really any protocol that keeps weight constant while increasing sets or number of reps per set and then increasing weight with a return to minimum volume for the next cycle.

On a monthly basis you could do 2x3 -> 4x3 -> 6x3 -> 8x3 then increase weight and back to 2x3 the next month. The 2x3 is a semi deload week that way.
Reps and sets are just one example obviously.
