i had my first gym session today and this fucking trainer annoyed the hell out of me. he kept on giggling when i was struggling on the bicep curls, and the worst part was when he and a couple of other trainer dudes were looking and laughing at me

I had a trainer too. It definitely helps to learn by doing, and having an eye on you for when you start out.

Contact management and tell them. Ask that the trainer is removed from the gym or fired. If they refuse, ask for a refund and go somewhere with competent staff.
