Fairly certain I can still count the times I've exceeded 2pl8 bench on 2 hands

In and out of the gym for years.
Benched 2plates once for a 1RM
Deadlift 3plates for 1RM
I want to kill myself

Keep your head up mate, bench is the dumbest lift anyway, and you can look real good even with smaller sized pecs

yeah I've gained ~10kg in the past year so I think the eating is alright

suspect it's maybe the constant biking, biked 3500 odd miles this year for work commute, so always shattered when I hit the gym at night

think I need to really lay off it and go hard in the gym over the winter, always try to be meticulous about form, terrified of injury

determined to make it but it might be in the year 2050

I bet your lifts will go up when you step down the biking. Hard to lift heavy when you're already tired.

Op are you me? My lifts are the exact same sitting at ~75kg right now.

I've started bulking and I think I'm seeing progress but its still painfully slow. I didn't really have a great diet for my first 8 months lifting so maybe that's stunted me somewhat.

it dawns on me you may not count rows... in which case I'm more under 1000 than I thought.

Still squatting the same as I bench, 195x5, at least I'm proud of my bench for being 176lb.

you dont count ohp and rows, its about the big three, your pl total, so 1/2/3/4 would be 945lbs, so you hit 1000lbs after 1/2/3/4 in most cases

Cycling is definitely affecting your lifts,

but also form fears can hold you back

I put so much thought into form that I didn't put proper effort into lifts

Increase your bw. At 400lb it's over 4 plate bench.

9 months lifting.
Every fucking week I'm there 4 times for 1-2 hours working hard.
Every fucking day I'm eating ~3000 calories.
Gained 16 lbs.
Can only bench 30 more lbs.
Squat 30 more lbs.
Deadlift 40 more lbs.

Is my bones just weak as fuck what's going on here?

I think mental blocks are a huge part of this.
I've added 10 pounds onto a lift some weeks and been just fine, even if I was exhausted using the previous weight and almost failing the last rep every time the previous week.
How do you get over this shit?
