Veeky Forums I have an issue. In both DLs and squat I suck when I'm at my lowest (in the hole for squat, starting position for DL especially when pulling sumo). Numbers to illustrate:

>Front Squat: 130kg
>Front Box Squat (parallel): 165kg
>Back Squat: 170kg
>Box Squat (parallel): 205kg
>Box Squat (low): 175kg - failed 180kg today

>DL off rack at just below knee height: 265kg
>DL off 5" boxes: 220kg
>Convention DL off floor: 195kg
>Sumo DL: 180kg
>Deficit DL on 5" boxes: 170kg

Advice? Do I just need to hammer the low box squat and deficit for a long time? Any accessory work to do?

I'd try pin squats and deficit sumo.
Proper sumo requires patience off the floor and box squats are a meme if you lift raw imo

Do you guys ever wonder what it's like to not be sore all the time?

Since January I had been suffering from extreme lower back pain. I wasn't able to progress the squat or deadlift significantly this entire time.
8 months of suffering in I asked for help from Gbro. I rehabbed for 1.5 months, felt good then all of a sudden the pain came back. I took a break from rehab.

And now I'm pain free. No matter what I do my back doesn't hurt anymore. Before it would hurt to lift my leg in the air. Not anymore.

I've deadlifted so many times since. It's such a liberating feeling. I'm also adding 10kg a time to my deadlift, (it's a lil weaker)

I'm in such a good place.

I mean like, today when I got out of bed everything was tight and stiff and having to get a pair of the socks from the bottom drawer was a nightmare.

I'm thinking about ten minutes from first warmup to top 5/3/1 set, another five or six minutes for one or two heavier sets, another ten for back offs. Call it a half hour+ for the lower lifts, probably a bit less for presses. Twenty minutes of accessories. All in all, not over an hour and a half per.

I used to when I did low frequency like 2x a week per lift.
