call me easily impressed, but these are cool stats keeping in mind you've been lifting for pretty short time. Any athletic background or something?
wrong trio.
that's a sad the press
damn bud those are intense stats gz
one might say its..

basically my upper body is fucked
Yeah I played baseball and swam competitively growing up, played club dodgeball from 19-22 and started lifting at 22.
I know senpai, I haven't trained it specifically in 7 months.
Thanks.
I wish I were stronger though.
1rm's or 5's?
Also, don't do low bar if you can highbar comfortably. ATG highbar squat is imo the best choice for anything but competitive powerlifting purposes.
My stats:
Bench: 450 lb
Squat: 100lb
Deadlift: 225 lb
Press: 100lb

well, a mix
today i did 2RM of 130kg diddly but i can do 5 reps of 125kg,
Bench is 1rm
OHP is 5rm
I can do high bar with really decent depth but i think i have uneven traps or some shit, makes the pressure on left side of body bigger. Might be that my legs are not even length or some shit
What i really struggle with is my adductors hurt during squats and i have some minor knee pain but i think i figured the knee pain out.
But adductor hurt when i try to squeeze my glutes inward, might be they are just sore from squatting 3 times a week idk.
Should i include some direct glute hip thrusts ?

All weights are for sets of 6, I don't know my maxes.
what the fuck those are absolutely trash lifts for four years. you sure you didnt mean four months? in which case, impressive
nope, 4 years.
you don't often see people who get shit gains to continue with lifting, but im one of them.
im a full on dyel but
do you eat food
Deadlift is my favorite.
I'm a personal trainer and other than myself in all the gyms I travel to I've never seen anyone squat more than 3pl8 or deadlift more than 4pl8. People post their herky jerky 1rm with poor form on here and add 50-100lbs to fit in and it's just silly.
I'm 80 / 180 at 178 / 5'10...
All I have is a bench and a bar at home so I usually snatch it up and ohp!
I'm a gym franchise owner and I've never seen anyone squat more than 2 plates or dl 3.
I doubt you as a lowly pt have ever seen anyone dl 4 plates

squat 185 3x5 ;_;
deadlift 275 1x2
nothing like a good push press. max is 195 @ bw of 162
Deadlift is favorite, probably because its the first one I promised myself to git gud at. Haven't done any for a good 2 weeks though.
Next goal is squat. Need to get dem toned quads.
xD
get your test checked m8, i had the same shit gains and it turned out to be low t
now i've got a prescription to inject and I'm making gains like a functional male

not that guy but those are my lifts after one year of a shitty brosplit and no diet + 4 months of real diet and routine in which i made most of my gains
test was like 430 or something, not enough for trt

My fav is deadlift, but I have a question. If at the beginning of my deadlift I'm having trouble stopping my back from rounding, is that due to a weak upper back?
OHP - 1 pl8
Bench - 2 pl8
Squat - 285 lbs
Deadlift - 365 lbs
Trying to focus more on legs and back right now so I can get to 1/2/3/4 and hopefully be relatively balanced.
it's due to you lifting more weight than you can lift while keeping your back straight genius
5'10
I haven't weighed myself in a year, so idk.
4 months
All are 5x5
OHP - 105
Bench - 140 - I have the hardest time with this fucking lift
Squat - 210
Ded - 240 - 1rm seems to be 275
I really wanna hit 2 plate squat and 3 plate deadlift by December.
Wait no, ded is only 1x5 oops.
wtf is this?
a hand
A bar
Dubs confirms
a trap hopefully
at the very least its like 40 kg made to look liek 140

are you even trying? or are you a woman?
For me it's the Squat, the best lift.
I like to lift it with a nice, refreshing coca cola
Toned quads from squats, oh boy
I started out a 100lbs bodyweight please forgive me fa.m
I can't decide between OHP, squats, diddlies or weighted chins.
Bench is my least favorite
At 5'9 142 lbs I'm benching 175 1x5.
I started lifting in september.
This is decent yes?
I love deadlifting because my hole in the wall gym doesn't have a power rack so I'm too scared to squat heavy there since one day I went down and broke a couple floor tiles, gym owner laughed it up but it really messed me up.
Bench and OHP are OK but there's nothing more rewarding than a heavy diddy/squat with good form.

I hate all of them equally.
Fucking squat, always worrying about my form and back. Always worried about killing myself.
Fucking bench, literally a do it yourself guillotine. Let me just hold 250lbs above my chest/neck and let nature take its course as I push it up and down.
Fucking OHP, one of the hardest to progress but also pushing 155lbs of weight right on top of my head. What could go wrong?
Fucking deadlift, grip isn't strong enough and probably the most likely to give you hernia, destroy your back, and your spine.
The fear of death every workout is what keeps me going.
>in the smith machine
So what you're saying is that you don't squat.
Do them with proper form and you'll be fine.
incline bench isn't as scary as flat bench, and it hits delts more
pretty much. i do smith machine squats and leg presses, as thats all i currently have available.
what would be a normal correlation between the weight for squat/smith machine squat/leg press one can do?
These are my exact stats. Cool.
Except I weigh 208 so it's shitter
Deadlift > squat = OHP > bench
Deadlift.
1. It yields the highest numbers.
2. It is the only lift where the weight is not directly above me, which is really, really scary for some reason.
>not overhead deadlifting
Your gym is full of DYELs. My community center gym has multiple regulars pulling 4 plates, squatting 3, and benching 2+ for reps.
>what would be a normal correlation between the weight for squat/smith machine squat
The bar adds 45 lbs compared to the smith machine.
Just hit the 1 year mark for lifting

Are you squatting with the bar on your head?
Are you telling me I have been squatting wrong all these years?
Other way around, you have transcended the high bar squat to the highest bar squat
How the fuck do you guys ask your doctors about this, just say you feel like an absolute pussy?
Can any britbongs weigh in, cause I feel like an absolute pussy lads.
This has to be the most feminine post I've ever seen.
t-rex mode
Do you have a problem with that?
Yes, having a vagina is no excuse for being such a pussy.

All of it for 3x5 reps. I'm really happy about these lifts since it's only my third month of going to gym. Made some decent progress but started out pretty good too - have been doing some calisthenics stuff, running, swimming, cycling and generally being active for last 2 years.
