Hit a new PB today on deadlift, 3 pl8s, 315lbs. Pretty happy, did three sets of one with that.

Have gone from deadlifting only the bar to 3 pl8s in about 18 months, on a relatively low carb high fat diet, too.

My wrist is fucked. I can lift 315 lbs on DL, but try doing a 60 lbs triceps extension, and it hurts like hell.

Having a good DL weight means nothing about wrists.
If you DL right you put no stress on the wrist.
It's straight up and down.

...then no, highbar overlaps less than low bar with DL, but if you're going for the best total possible, obviously train low bar because you'll be able to get more weight up. for overall strength building, high bar is better to train, front squats even more so.

Nah I was a fatty that lost 90 pounds overtime and was overdoing cardio for the first two years. That and high volume training with squats bench and deads the same day = shit results. But I'm happy because to me clean form and control without equipment and double overhand is better than ego lifting 5 plates with equipment and 0 control

A high bar squat is safer, but it does not work nearly as many muscles
A front squat is similar to the high bar, but instead of the back lower region it works the upper back and quads
low bar squat is similar in danger to a dead, and they work the same muscles
