don't quit blueshoes

>roiding for eggman with a weaker bench

>behind the neck push press
>behind the neck snatch press

I can't do either one of these without my shoulders clicking. Why and how do I fix it?

I believe in you

Does it hurt? Where does it click?

>shoulder problems getting worse and worse
>drop out anything involving the upper body, including jerks and snatches

>knee problems
>drop out any squatting and leg pressing

>start doing lots of pulls (deadlifting)
>get SI/low back problems

please just fucking kill me.

who cares about fucking injuries, we're freaks. right?

in this region, typically happens once I'm behind the head

Hows the shoulder flexibility? Often what happens on BTN pressing is peple let the chest drop as they being it behind their necks, due to lack of cueing it and flexibility.

I need to see what you're doing to tell you exactly whats wrong. Shrugging up the shoulders is wrong too, or letting them roll forwards. Scapulae down and even back a bit.

even just sitting here, if I try to do movement behind the neck it clicks.

what mobility exercises should I be doing?

Anything else make uour shoulswr hurt? Might be impingement. Go see a physio.

Probably do some Pec stretches before you do it.

Sup kids I hear you dont want me in yoir chat

And no its not shit genetics because i deadlift for fun once in a while and it went up from 200 to 225kg in this period. Besides this I was dipping weighted with 30kg for reps and now 55kg for reps(ill be almost like lu) also im rowing 110kg now it used to be 90kg

Pls help

you're probably tired from the rest of your workout

That could be it

How the fuck do I properly program this. I dont have a coach or anything and there are no good programs suited for me online

Well maybe your program is working. Did your total go up? If the answer is yes then don't worry about how much your squat went up.

squat more

>Shrugging up the shoulders is wrong too
>Scapulae down and even back a bit.

t. doesn't know what he's talking about.

dont you dare quit blueshoes we're counting on ya, buddy.

But im already squatting 3 times a week senpai

>there are no good programs suited for me online

Besodes there are almost no programs on the internet as it is

There are tons of programs on the internet...

You can just program yourself.
Which lifts do you want to do, what days do you want to train, etc etc.

>Besodes there are almost no programs on the internet as it is

yeah 100%, there's almost no program that's why when you google you get 2 results wow is fucking nothing

go find the white guy to write you a program he learned how to by reading a book and go to bulgaria china and taught by retarded like u

>implying i know jackshite about programming

can a white guy at calstrenght write me a pro program which chinese secrts

no you are too weak and too much of a bitch

>better not try to learn anything

Should I get a PT at my gym to help me learn these lifts? or is teaching myself the best way

>Should I get a PT at my gym to help me learn these lifts?

yeah, also make sure you give him a tip afterwards if you know what i mean ;)

Is /owg/ full of unfunny cunts as well?

Go to a wl gym

I saw a thread on Veeky Forums last night about the way the chinese brace themselves for a squat. Something was said about "air sipping" and there was a video where the guy was making a distinction between arching the chest and not arching the chest.

I would like to see this video again, and learn more about the way the chinese squat. It seemed his back was much more neutral, and at one point he was bouncing the bar on his traps

Can anyone explain this to me if you know what I'm talking about?

turns out it was on reddit.

reddit.com/r/weightlifting/comments/5a754c/the_way_that_some_chinese_lifters_brace/

anyone care to weigh in on this?

just use the valsalva maneuver

Shrug at the top is fine. It's debated whether it's beneficial or not, and I personally don't think so. It's much more unstable than keeping the shoulders packed, although many believe shrugging up at the top is more stable.

Shrug anyway else throughout the movement is wrong and puts the the rotator cuff in a vulnerable position.

Also, fuck Mark Rippetoe. Fuck that one Russian guy too, his tech sucks and his advice sucks.

3 times hahhahahahhahhahhahhaaa try 12

damn you squat 12 times a week? what are your numbers?

Everything what you said is completely wrong.
If you want to learn, I can take some of my time and give you a few articles to read.

Except "fuck Mark Rippetoe.

Thatd be Nice

Currently 6'2" 190 skinnyfat with last 10 months on SL 5x5. Just joined oly gym and enjoy it so much I'm dropping SL and switching to a 4 day oly program as per coach. Coach also wants me to stop eating in a deficit and more or less recomp. I want to get stronk and good at oly lifts, but physique is also important to me.

What do about diet?
