Punk rock. Fast energizing beats. Plenty of bands to fit every mood.

Having a good day?
>Ska: Reel big fish, Pain, catch 22

Angry about something?
>Hard: Rise against, good clean fun

Don't give a fuck?
>ETC: NOFX, the off spring, descendants

Want some country?
>folk..ish...:Social distortion, Johnny hobo

There is so fucking much to lift to I don't see why you'd pick anything that wasn't punk. Literally has a little something for every genre

I associate punk with getting high with friends and generally everything that's the opposite of productive. Especially ska punk, I don't see how that could get you in a lifting mood.

The only music for me that's synonymous with lifting is metal. That's pretty much the only reason I have 90% of the metal in my library, I don't listen to it any other time.

Metal for the maxes and heavy work sets. Rap or synthwave once it's smooth sailing and I'm just having a good time. Naruto theme songs if I'm tryna go ham with the nostalgia power.

Perturbator & Carpenter Brut (dark synthwave)

you have garbage taste

trance, house, progressive, any electronic music with high BPM really.
I download 1-2 hour DJ mixes so there's no downtime.
occasionally classical music if I really don't feel like listening to thumping bass

>I don't see why you'd pick anything that wasn't punk
Because it's trash

glue70 - Casin (Remix)
Carpenter Brut - Paradise Warfare
Hall & Oates - Out of Touch
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son

Pop punk here, it's pretty "high school" but it's a habit at this point

lifting/calisthetics
eminem, kayne west, motivational rap music

cardio
parov stelar, caravan palace, electric swing in general

When lifting usually TK youtube.com/watch?v=m4leigrcN0E

When doing cardio I'm either watching Top Gear or listening to Electric Swing.

Tried listening to some slow indie stuff and some chill/vocal heavy dnb for deadlifts yesterday, pretty great desu

good for a workout

-Walking to gym-
Rammstein - Buck Dich

-Lifting-
Rammstein, Amon Amarth, Wagner, The Chainsmokers, Uppermost

-Cardio-
Tycho, Uppermost, John P. Sousa military marches

I flip flop between metal/electronic/classical. Love me some grand, dramatic music.

If you're not lifting to Swans, you're not lifting.

what are some good podcasts?
Does not necessarily have to be Veeky Forums related

Heavy rock and metal for lifting, anime theme songs for running

Literally this

Popular rap/trap for lifting and indie dance music like cut copy and shit for cardio

>Nine Inch Nails
>Slipknot
>Korn
>The Prodigy

Need that bass to lift.

I listen to the lainchan radio. Good new-age shit

Chapo traphouse

some metal hipster is gonna give you shit for liking popular bands, i guarantee it

Ignorant rap and deathcore. It's gets me pumped.

I make no apologies.

Came to post something similar to this. I like adding in some Mitch Murder, Dance with Dead, Kavinsky or something else along that line.
