Bedtime ritual m8. Some nice chamomile tea or a shower.
Try to unwind for a while before sleep. No heavy meals or lifting too close to bed time. Read a book. Avoid screens. Get used to going to bed at same time.
How long does this bedtime ritual need to be? 30 minutes? I've heard of what you're talking about before
I'll give that a try, I just need to figure something out. I would love to get a consistent 9 hours a sleep a night atleast but I just can't get it down.

What worked for me was to wake up very early at 3AM with ~4 hours of sleep for a few days and then I would get very tired at about 9PM, just in time for sleep.

9 hours a day? Do you even need that much? 7-8 hours of sleep is usually enough for most people.
7 mininum, 9 max. Inbetween and you will wake up feeling like shit. Src: REM cycles
