powerlifters don't "just" do compounds; well not all of them. Assistance work is key, and some of that includes isolation work or work that hits only a couple of muscles but isn't necessarily a "compound" lift by the way most people would describe it (e.g. squat, bench, etc.)

give him time to cut down to sub 12%, and I'm sure you'd start to see a taper emerge that's potentially even stronger than most bodybuilders, due to the insane amount of core work most strength-focused athletes do (or should be doing)

bimbo just likes to lift imo, which is fine, different strokes, different folks and all that. But training that way, even on juice, isn't optimal for recovery. Lifting is 50% about breaking yourself down, 50% recovery (here we go with the bullshit arbitrary percentages again) and not having optimal recovery time cuts in to the effectiveness of your lifting potential

Of course, on steroids, it's easier to compensate for that lack of proper rest by just lifting more and more and grinding past that rest period thinking it's alright because "my recovery times are enhanced" but it certainly still isn't optimal, and talk about taxing your body unnecessarily

V-taper is primarily genetic (width of hips vs width of shoulders, lat insertions, etc) if your obliques are blowing the fuck up, usually your lats are too.

Even natties can train every day. Is it the most efficient? In some ways yes, in others no. Just because you roid doesn't mean youve fully recovered in six hours or less like some.sort of Majinn Buu. He just likes to chase a pump so he goes to the gym a lot.

i do fullbody high volume 1-2hrs every 2-3 days and I recover fine, sometimes when I do higher volume than usual 2 days starts pushing it and e3d I recover fine

i dont see why somebody couldnt workout even 14 times a week and recover fine if they're doing a split (and are on enough drugs)

there's only a handful I know of that religiously implement oly lifts into their workloads, and I think that's more just something for variety than it is any practicality. They're great lifts for explosive movement but in terms of sheer power (outside of that explosiveness) they don't do a whole lot

At the elite levels, you likely will see guys doing compound lifts and only 1-2 accessory lifts per session, but that's because a session for those guys includes benching upwards of 500, 600 pounds, deadlifting almost twice that, and squatting 750+lbs

those guys simply don't have any fuel left in the tank for those accessories, they've nearly shit their entire fucking CNS down the back of their pants doing their main compound work, so you do what you can to bring up lagging areas and nothing more

on any level lower than that, the assistance work starts to increase, you'll see guys who have 5-8 assistance exercises after their compounds, or variations of said compound

example: my diddly day, varies on if it's heavy/explosive/rep day so I won't list the reps, just the lifts
