Most important lift for me to make progress on is the DL, honestly. I saw that some weeks only have DL variations and no actual conventional deadlifts. Did you feel this actually helped you at all?

I have run Candito 6 week 2 times.

First time
SQ: 125 kg to 128 kg
DL: 150 (no progress REEE)

Second time
SQ: 147 kg to 152
DL: 170 kg to 172 kg.

It's a hard program, almost too hard. Looking back, I would never have done the program now. Simply too hard for an intermediate since the intentisy is too high to practice proper form and get decent reps unde your belt. Didnot help that I was playing football twice a week during my cycles

Not bait. Just my opinion. I donot think handling heavy weights is that important compared to getting proper reps ingrained. On week 4 and 5 you are doing so few reps at such a high intensity that form breakdown is inevitable. Rep work is more important than intensity work imo.

They don't even realize they have to brace, since it's not a deadlift.

If you can deadlift heavy without lower back pain then you can barbell row without pain too. Just godda brace.
