What is it that prevents the arms from snapping back at the shoulder joints when you snatch the weight up?

I feel like if I tried to do this with the smallest weight my arms would snap back and simply destroy my shoulder joints and/or elbows.

no this is retarded, trust me i've done it for my bsquat when i was a weak shit like u, i improved my 1rm quick but it didnt transfer to lifts

you need strong core for good front squat, use the back squat to get stronger legs, use front squats and core exercises to lift more. meaning use reps on front squats, if i start from a month or even a week off, i'll do sets of 8 for a couple sets then gradually drop the reps over the week to 3-5 depending on what cycle i'm doing usually more on 5s

this is top secret, if you want get strong learn how to actually use your core. the best cue i've heard to conceptualize the proper use of core is think about moving a car or something very heavy it will be almost instinctual to stay tight when you're pushing against something heavy

because it's the back squat, front squat has more carryover to the lifts. when I was maxing my front squat every day, my clean went up significantly.

you can increase your front squat with ugly form like i did with my back squat and still get no carry over that was my point

You may be straining your arms when you're recovering from the catch, which may be due to rack inflexibility or any number of things. To help with rack flexibility, hold a pvc pipe with a clean grip in front of you, elbows at rack height, forearms perpendicular to upper arms. From here, try to touch your elbows. Hold that stretch, release, repeat.

You can also stretch the muscles around your elbow by pinning in contraction then extending. Do that for all the muscles of the arm.

You can max your squat everyday while keeping good form if you only go to a daily max not an all time one

If anyone thinks this hasn't been set up, he is straight up retarded. The amount of important lifters banned this years from Olympics, WL included is laughable.

They retested 4 years old samples from 2012 Olympics, and banned him 2 months before competition. If you know anything about those tests, then you should know that they would find the drugs back then in London. There are about 4 tests done by the nation you represent before you leave, and then about 6 total before and after you arrived Rio, done by the most inquisive specialists possible. In terms of new drugs, this is mostly a blind search, done during the period between Olympics. But they claim that they hadn't found a simple fucking anabolic steroid back then, a form of testosterone.

Lets say a mass spec from 2012 could detect 1 part per 10 million, and a newer mass spec from 2016 can detect 1 part per 100 million, a newer mass spec can detect PED usage from months before an older piece of equipment can, hence why the IOC and WADA does these retests (those numbers are arbitrary, but it illustrates the point). It's not as though WADA only retests to find new drugs, they also retest because they have much newer equipment on their hands to detect PED use weeks before, or in some cases, months and months before the olympics.

learn diaphragmatic breathing, use diaphragmatic breathing to brace core. use properly braced core on every exercise, practice with planks make sure you squeeze abs and glutes when doing plank

i also like slow descent squats sometimes i add pause at the bottom, 5 reps for a couple sets dont ask me how to program these or i will punch you in the mouth. just replace one of your squats with these. use a weight where you can stay tight throughout and never relax at the bottom

also liking snatch balance right now, never used to do them because i was following stupid programming by stupid people, now i do them cause im not stupid anymore and i'm much stronger then u lmao. same thing with everything stay tight throughout

you can just google ab exercises desu just as long as you do them properly like i describe in the first paragraph they would benefit u

i always post too early or something, i like snatch balance because it teaches you better position at the bottom

if you think about doing a hip snatch like you do your snatch balances = instant improvement in your snatch as long as you practice the snatch balance correctly like the guy in webm

in terms of everything, you learn how to support the weight overhead and control it down to a strong bottom position without wobbling like a retard and having to chase the bar around because you lost tightness somewhere

also if you look at the dip this is similar to how you should initiate a hip snatch, torso vertical and just slight bend at the knees
