This is actually true. The EU, for example, is a very good thing.
However, I think it's likely that had Nazism never existed, there would have been some version of the EU anyway. It would have arisen, as it did in the real timeline, to help Europe economically and to consolidate European power in a new geopolitical reality in which no single European nation could possibly compete with the US or USSR.
