Is there any point getting married in 2018 for any reason?
Marx and Engels defined marriage as an ancient business contract, that only existed to ensure the survival of a family's property and wealth throughout generations, and that love was secondary or illusory in comparison.
Meanwhile, marriage in the West has declined rapidly since the 1960s, where 50% of 10 year marriages end in divorce, and the divorce courts are heavily biased against men, in everything from property to parental custody.
So, is it not a simply a coin toss? Or perhaps a Disney dream?

Unless there is no child involved, or if the marriage is at a state in which both persons are a threat to one another or the offspring, then the relationship must continue for their sake.
