I used to do the gamble. Never worked for me. Now I just treat blue chip stock as a bank account with a great interest rate. Facebook is going to release an 11/10 earnings report on November 1st. If you want to make a safe buck you should buy in before the rush of last minute buyers comes in.

It’s best to treat it like a supplement to your income. If you’re in for $100k then you can easily make $10k-$30k annually by literally doing nothing. If you are already moderately rich and are in for $500k then you’ll make $50k-$150k a year just sitting on your ass and jerking off to tentacle porn. If you already have a low six figure income then this is the easiest & safest way to get rich. Just readjust your stop loss as needed (Robinhood doesn’t offer a trailing stop loss) and buy more whenever the price is right.

I have my own business as my main source of income. Most of the money goes to growing/maintaining my inventory but when there’s nothing around to buy or I’m at capacity then I put the money into stocks. Having it sit in a savings account just feels wasteful. I’d like to start buying businesses that will produce passive income, where I don’t have to be present and have minimal involvement, but it’s not the right time as I plan on doing some cashing out and buying a Lamborghini next spring.

I’ve lost enough money gambling. I used to play roulette. I was one of those guys who thought he could beat the wheel. If it hits red, bet red until it hits black. Then double your bet on red, if it still hits black then double your bet and put it on black. Something like that, it’s been 5-6 years. It went well for a while, I was up $3k at one point but all it takes is one shit streak and when you’re doubling your bets you get can get neck deep in shit real quick.
