Not too worried about this dip. Antshares went from its ATH of $14 all the way down to $4. On its next run up, people sold again around $10-15, thinking it would just crash again. But instead, it shot up to almost $50 throughout the week.

This is nothing. In a week or two, everyone that sold is gonna be posting wojaks and FOMO buying back in, pushing us even higher. I was never a LINK holder, but I did buy in at this dip.

Ok, genuine question here. We all known the coming BTG fork is depressing the market for alts. Alts are down across the board. BUT link is down way more than other alts. In fact, out of the top 100 coins, link has lost the largest percentage over the last 24 hours and its down almost 50% since just 7 days ago. Why? All alts are taking a hit, but why is LINK taking the hardest hit?

BTG is if I had to guess, the Federal Reserves attempt to derail the threat to them that is Bitcoin. Just like the BCC was an attempt by the Chinese.

All the alts are going to suffer, and the momentum behind LINK is what dropped so much, think the bigger they are the harder they fall. Again look at the histories of the well performing cryptos and see they went through the same thing.

Because of mismanagement (just staying silent) with communications. Everyone was hyped who are in the crypto community by a potential of link and Swift.
People still are believing in a project, but lack of communication and roadmap is killing trust. Plus you cannot get mainstream adoption or institutional growth without sufficient channels of money. Only one exchange is trading at a corporate level (binance). If link had access to polo or bittrex, it could make waves.
Also price will stabilize as soon master nodes come in effect as holders will have the initiative to stake their coin (1/3 of supply is allocated for rewards,1/3 in i.c.o and 1/3 for development which they won't touch at least until 2020 as they have 30 mils)

This amazing news came completely out of the blue.
It caused a spike to a new ATH, and then the price dropped LOWER than where it was before the news. Completely unnatural on its own.
But then...

3) after that, the downtrend continued along the EXACT SAME TRENDLINE it was on before SIBOS. As if the good news and the price spike never happened.

4) this trendline continued until like a day ago.

- Prices don't normally reach a new ATH and then casually downtrend in a straight line like that.

- Prices don't normally go through a major event (news about Sony Axa, ...) and then return to the same trendline as though nothing happened.

There are a million things you notice that just scream manipulation.
