Starting a youtube channel for money

Is it still possible to make a decent living off youtube these days?

I have access to a rare vidya collection that I could play and upload raw footage from a real console.

I want to earn enough money to marry Anzu.

Twitch is better for that kind of shit.

Anzu is an ugly white bitch.

nobody wants to see yor ugly face or hear your winey voice OP and certainly this young boy will not marry you

Shut up.

>boy
FUck yoU, Anzu is a girl with nice boobies.

>nobody wants to see yor ugly face or hear your winey voice OP
>twitch

Do I have to show my ugly mug or can it just be pure rare vidya gaming footage?

Well you bastards?

Veeky Forums can't solely be about bitcoin.

How big are your tits? because no one is going to give a shit about some ugly guy playing some rare vidya

If you want to get actual money, you need to rely on something other than youtube AKA have actual commercial sponsors or big donations

Ugly bitch.

patreon is more profitable than youtube right now

She's cute.

Would breastforms work?

>AKA have actual commercial sponsors or big donations
>patreon

So what you guys are saying is make the channel and ask for money from subscribers or SOMEHOW secure a commercial sponsorship?

Whoops forgot her picture.

Should I just start investing my wageslave salary into cryptocurrency then?

yeah but you need to do some drama and cancer memes like leafy and scarce, no one will watch just for the replays. Focus on getting a to about 50000 loyal subscribers and then focus on getting brand deals, they are what makes the money

I think thats what we're all doing.

....has anyone become a millionaire yet?

>but you need to do some drama and cancer memes like leafy and scarce

No one's gonna appreciate rare fifth generation games playing off original as their own thing?

>50,000
Is this the magic number to get things started?

*playing off original hardware

Anzu's actually way too skinny looking at the rest of her pictures.

Youtube profitability is at an all time low.

Twitch is slowly also raising fees because youtube is shitting the bed meaning livestreamers/youtubers become unprofitable over time.

Only way to stay affloat is through patreon and you could do a lot of things more profitable than being a youtuber. Such as making adult games/art etc.

>you're too late

Oh fuck off, I'm late to fucking everything. Why did I think bitcoins weren't going to amount to anything

>Only way to stay affloat is through patreon and you could do a lot of things more profitable than being a youtuber. Such as making adult games/art etc.

Can you expand on the etc?

The highest income Patreons are
>Porn artist (Drawn/3D/Comic)
>Porn game developers (RPGmaker or visual novels using renpy usually use DAZstudio look it up it's not too hard to try and make something)
>fanfic writers (again, usually porn)
>Translators (Usually Japanese to English but there is niches for all different kinds of languages)

That is assuming you are male. As a female or convincing trap you can cosplay and get patreon money that way.

Patreon is in its "early majority" phase. Meaning that while you are still early to the party and it's still booming it will soon start to become over-saturated.

Of course you can always try to start something new on patreon that doesn't fit into any of these things and be the first one that does it but there will be no guarantee of success.

>porn
>porn
>porn
>translating porn (amongst other things)

>Patreon is in its "early majority" phase. Meaning that while you are still early to the party and it's still booming it will soon start to become over-saturated.

What sort of timeframe are you thinking of? Now I have to think of an idea.

one to 2 years.

It's like ~2010-2011 youtube. Some of the bigger ones are already standing but you still have a chance to start and become big.

Also there are a lot of non-porn patreons but porn obviously brings in the big bucks.

Timeline wise. You'd have to see it like this. Most people just have a X amount of $ they want to spend on patreon. People are still finding out and joining patreon so there is enough money to go around for most people. But eventually that will stop growing and the total amount of $ will stay the same and competition will kick in. I'd say another 2-3 years before this phase kicks in. If you get big enough before that time you're probably set.

One more thing.

I have a fellow wageslave who claims to be streaming on twitch and apparently he makes between £100 to £200 each stream, being a louder pewdiepie knockoff. I've been trying to find his twitch account can't seem to find even with his gamertags.

Is he lying? Cos if he spent even 3 days just streaming there would be no reason for him to come to work.

Sauce?

what does anzu's penis taste like?

Don't know but I have more in my collection.

Maybe you can tell me if he's lying? I mean, £100-£200 a stream (it's untaxed right? If it's donations?)

Like your mother.

Well?

Cough.

as I understand it you can't make $$$ from the youtube channel itself, it's rather part of a system you use to drive traffic to your real money earners.

An online shop which could sell dropshipping, video game mods, I don't know. Whatever the content of your channel is you need to find a product/service to sell that matches it.

Basically you're "content marketing" on a small scale.
