For me it made me realize that Poland wasn’t an eternal shithole that deserves nothing short of another partition but rather the Christ of nations that acted as a harbinger of culture and freedom in an era and region that was almost completely devoid of it. Also made me realize how shitty and unreasonable the Arabs were to the Jews at Israel’s founding, also that Celts are the true master race and the rightful denizens of pretty much all of Europe rather than Germanics.
It made me lose the will to discuss anything, particularly if it's related to philosophy.
Luis Ross
It turned me from an athiest fascist to a monarchist orthodox christian
Jose Russell
Stayed radical centrist.
William Smith
it made me realize that the majority of Veeky Forums has some kind of mental retardation and that Veeky Forums is particularly retarded because most people here are delusional christfags, reactionaries or racists.
Julian Lewis
This. It just made my hatred of communism and nazism more articulate
Gabriel Roberts
retard
Carson Walker
It made me realize Poland is an eternal shithole that deserves nothing but complete extirpation.
Alexander Clark
That I can hate Hitler, National Socialism and what certain atrocities German forces committed while still respecting and admiring certain genius German Generals of Prussian values.

Xavier Powell
Not really, since Veeky Forums is not a person and most of the retards are here. From both sides.
Cameron Perez
it made me realize that broad statements or judgments of entire peoples or nations can never be truly accurate because the histories of those peoples or nations span centuries or millennia, with their situations and states always in flux or changing as history progresses.
it made me realize that there is no absolute, underlying truth and that nothing in history is truly black and white.
and that an atrocity is an atrocity despite its motivations and its effects
and we can appreciate culture or art despite its origins
also that entire continents like africa cant be generalized into "they never advanced" you fucks stop making the same thread every week
in other words, it completely changed my view of history and revealed to me the true meaning of objectivity
or maybe it was just the weed idk
Josiah Bailey
this would be accurate is macron actually did anything
Jonathan Lewis
>broad statements or judgments of entire peoples or nations can never be truly accurate because the histories of those peoples or nations span centuries or millennia
"All Venetians lived on the coast."
>there is no absolute, underlying truth Is that true dude?
Bentley Nguyen
It made me realize that Poland is an eternal shithole that deserves another partition and it's not the Christ of nations and never acted as a harbinger of culture and freedom in an era and region that was almost completely devoid of it. Also made me realize how great and reasonable the Arabs were to the Jews at Israel’s founding, also that Celts are the true slave race and the rightful low class of pretty much all of Europe rather than slavs.
Logan Perez
>"All Venetians lived on the coast." okay you got me there
>Is that true dude? to me it is, not necessarily to everyone else ;)
Ethan Anderson
it made me realize tolerating some ideologies is pointless because you have to be genuinely mentally ill to be unable to see through their fatal flaws.
Matthew Martinez
It made me less racist
Jaxon Nguyen
it has lead to my continued indifference to Poland
Kevin Peterson
>For me it made me realize that Poland wasn’t an eternal shithole that deserves nothing short of another partition but rather the Christ of nations that acted as a harbinger of culture and freedom in an era and region that was almost completely devoid of it. DAAAAS RITEEEEEEEE
>The Prussian Homage (by Jan Matejko, 1882, National Museum, Kraków): Albert receives eastern Prussia as a fief from King Sigismund I of Poland in 1525. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_Homage
Russian philosopher Nikolai Berdyaev: >”In the past, polonisation and latinisation of the Russian people would have been to the ruin of its spiritual self-existence, its national visage. Poland descended upon the Russian East with a sense of its own cultural superiourity. The Russian spiritual type seemed to the Polish not some other spiritual type, but simply a lower and non-cultural condition.”
>”Altogether different is the Polish soul. The Polish soul -- is aristocratic and individualistic to the point of morbidity, in it so powerful is not only the sense of honour, connected with the knight-chivalrant culture unknown to Russia, but also an obdurate ambition. This is the most refined and elegant soul within Slavdom, drowning in its own suffering fate. Pathetic to the point of affectation. The mannerisms of the Polish soul always strike Russians as artificially elegant and sweet, lacking in simplicity and directness, and repelling in its sense of superiourity and suspiciousness, of which the Polish are not free. The Polish have always seemed lacking in a sense of the equality of human souls before God, of brotherhood in Christ, as connected with the acknowledging of the infinite value of each human soul. The unique spiritual aspect of the Polish nobility has poisoned Polish life and played a fateful role in its state destiny. Russian man is little capable of such scorn, he does not love to give another man the feeling, that he is lower than him. Russian man is proud in his humility. The Polish soul however draws upward.” berdyaev.com/berdiaev/berd_lib/1914_178.html
Its cleared my mind of /pol/ bs and put me on the road to recovery.
Henry Hall
Less racist, Hate 'alt-righters', Hate Krauts Hate Anglos (and I'm Anglo), Better taste in art, Better taste in memes, Hate discussion of World War 2, Hate Turks
Parker Gray
Veeky Forums made me realise how fucking autistic Byzaboos are. I've had conversations talking about the decline and fall of Rome (the actual city, not the Empire) and they jump in without reading context and start sperging out about Basil II
Henry Cox
byzaboos are physical manifestations of the inferiority/inadequancy complex, they are best left ignored and mocked until they get over their adolescent love for their rump state.
Connor Butler
Made me virulently racist against people I didn't give a damn about before, like Turks.
Charles Sanders
>being racist is dumb Yeah ok evolution didn’t occur for humans
Gavin Roberts
More like the retards use the board like Cuba and the US fought a proxy war in El Salvador
Blake Jackson
It made me realise the deep incincerity of Holocaust promoters
Jeremiah Adams
>valuing an individual's ancestry over an individual's merit in any, let alone every, circumstance sounds dumb to me
Andrew Brooks
This. This. And more of this. I used to be cool with some of the things /pol/ would talk about right? It lured me in. But over time, I started to internalize the memes and subconsciously catch myself being inwardly and outwardly racist. It's sad because I've always been naturally interested in history and have excelled in it within school. How I could've fallen so far to simplify a group of people based on stereotypes and "race realism" is astonishing. I felt my heart blacken and perceive things as cut and dry without no complexity or respect. I became hollow, a shallow clone of everything I witnessed. /pol/ used to be interesting discussing politics and social issues, but it's been tainted and a cesspool. It's stormfront 2.0 and invaded by 24/7 shills. I loved it for free speech, but it's ruined. It's /b/ all over again, and I want no part of it. I want to look at humanity with open eyes and take in every shade of its hue. From the marvels of civilization to the pits of decay and death, I want to learn again.
Aaron Powell
>meritocracy Glad I've been cured from this meme.
Jack Myers
I used to be a holocaust denier, but then I discovered REI was one too, so now I've turned my back on national socialism. My god you get some retarded people in it.
Dominic Martin
There is nothing wrong with being racist, is what I've learned.
Nathaniel Martinez
Veeky Forums tought me to hate indeologies other than Christianity
Christopher Cook
>h >i >s
William Butler
Nothing t b h Very few topics here cite their sources, very little quality control, too much memes
James Foster
used to be a pol frequenter. im still racist but the nazis ruined everything
Brandon Young
This and unironically.
Christian Anderson
Veeky Forums played a minor role in turning me from a loosely democratic socialist/libcom to a full-blown anarchist
Michael Perez
Veeky Forums cured my /pol/tardness. I can finally think more clearly and not be stuck in a loop of eternal pointless bullshit.
Luke Edwards
this
Isaac Thompson
Made me realise there is absolutely no hope for Veeky Forums as a place for serious discussion. There is no such thing as a "smart board", Veeky Forums was the last hope. I just come for the memes
Henry Rogers
this very much.
Dominic Cooper
Veeky Forums made me realize that unironic leftists are even worse than /pol/

>HRE is underrated >H>R>E posters need the guillotine >I still like the French but they and Francophile's are dindu's sometimes >I feel bad for perpetuating the Eternal Anglo (even though it's objectivity true at times) >People have an autistic rage towards Germany and it's just sad and a waste of life >Same can be said for Poland but their fans are annoying and flood threads with Poland Stronk
That's pretty much it. I weep that this board was unequivocally a L eftyP ol colony and was sieged by P ol themselves. It could have been its own thing, Veeky Forums could have been a heaven and it was for a fleeting moment until loyal soldiers on both sides ruined it.
Chase Sullivan
WW2 COULD make for an incredibly interesting discussion.
Nathan Cook
The Francophile and Germanophobe trends are reactionary to Stormfag/Prussiabo menace that has plagued this website for so long. Doesn’t make it right, but still
