I lack discipline

How do you guys get the discipline to go to the gym at least 4 days a week ?

Just understand that it's going to suck for a few weeks before it's habitual.

*PFFFFFRRRRRRRRRAAAPPRAPPPRAPPPPRAPPP*

Have a gym buddy to shame you if you don't go.

Neck yourself

>PRPRRPRPRPRPRRPRPPFFFFFPFFFFPFF

I don't need discipline or motivation, because I'm literally addicted. I feel fucking depressed when I miss a session.

How do I go to the gym if I work a physical job and I feel dead tired after work?

>picking up garbage
>its heavy and you wanna get rid of it asap
>getting gains and getting paid

I have a home gym so its super easy now cause its literally 15 feet away and i can wear what i want.

in the past tho it helped having a motivated workout partner when i was first starting. we would hold eachother accountable.

also i read somewehre that if u do something for a month, it just becomes habit. so just force urself to stick to it and u will be fine.

There are going to be times where you just really dont want to go. Everyone experiences this. I have never met someone who regretted going to the gym after they finally forced themselves to go. So even if you really really dont want to go, get into your gym clothes, hop in your car, and just start driving there. You arent likely to turn around.

Make it a routine, the hardest is always in the beginni- *BRAPPP* oh yes my love.. *FTPSHHHHH* bring those brown buns closer... *PBFBFFFFFFFFSPLOOSH* heheh yes keep it coming my mouth is your toilet *BRIPPPPPLOP* *slurrrrp* *gulp* ohohoho quite divine my little poot princess

Just do it, then you'll miss it whenever you don't get to go.

Look in the mirror.
And just make sure you have a cool routine. I like to go to the gym because I love doing exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press and pull ups.

this. also build it better into your routine. Force parts of your life to work around going to the gym. For example, I put my passcard for access to my work into my gym bag at night (along with all my work clothes). Then I roll right out of bed, pop on my gym clothes, and hop in my car.

At that point to NOT GO to the gym would be a huge inconvenience.

You gotta trick your laziness to work for you.

...

For me, after a few weeks working out became the highlight of my day, so I always look forward to it. FUCK having to do legs, though.

I do it when I get home.

First thing I do after setting down my stuff is get my DMAA. Then I write up what needs to be in the notebook for that day, get any dishes/pots I need for dinner set, get anything prepped that can be done now, then mix the caffeine & workout drink.

Grab my player, crank the volume, and go.

My usual routine is M/T/Th/F, but I'm not aspie if I need to shift something back a day. Shit happens; you hit it the next day or you wake up early and take care of business.

A few months of that and you won't be wasting time. If you're here, you'll look, comment and get back to what's important.

This is a great answer, a fantastic way to start a habit.

It's not about being a hardcore disciplinarian or having a ton of willpower, it's making it more difficult to fail than it is to succeed

my lord.. hardest ive kekked in months

brap posting is god tier

there is no secret to discipline
you do it even if you don't want to, end of story

Join the A.M. gym workout crew
or
go DIRECTLY from work to the gym and shower off. Pick a gym close to where you work. Hit weights for 45mins, go home.

>tfw doing sports every day easily
>tfw having no discipline for anything else
Atleast I'm not fat, I guess.

Also
>butterface
My mood is now ruined.

>laughing about a written fart
Are you 9?

I'm a different poster, but FUCK YOU
Farts are funny!

>not laughing at funny shit

thats cool. looking forward to your "funny" "memes" about how life sucks/end my life h-haha

I live alone and have no friends.
I spend two hours in gym after work because i have nothing else to do.
I hate tv and the internet.
Dont be like me.

6 days a week here, its easy when you have no life

Have a relatively close gym.
When my last gym was a 10 minute walk away, I had no problem heading there 5 or 6 times a week.

Since I moved I haven't been to a single gym since the closest one is a 30+ minute bike ride away and I don't feel like heading there after work when temps are still in the upper 30s to lower 40s at night to go to my gym.

I'll probably start going again in the spring when nights are in the upper 50s again.
Until then, I'm using what weights I have at home.

This is my chosen method, 3 years strong. I go 4-5 days a week right after work. If I work, I go to the gym, I don't make plans until after I'm out of the gym. I just schedule it like part of my work day.

I go after work. Your whole day is shot when you work anyways so losing an hour or so doesn't really make a difference. Having a program to follow helps.

Becuase it's fun.

For me it doesn't have anything to do with discipline. After the first month or so lifting became one of my favorite things to do. If I miss a session or am forced to take a rest day then I feel like shit all day.

Go to the gym for the right reasons so that it is actually something that you look forward to doing.

If youre asking us then quit going to the gym and taking up space.

Just take some good preworkout, then you'll have pretty much no choice but to go sweat it out.

FOMO, this plus I get workout pains just like hunger pains now. Working out provides so many benefits physically, mentally, and materially that you will crave it once you get squarely into the golden "noob gains phase".

Hardest part is getting to that golden phase of realization, and for this you need to realize your an ugly piece of shit within a meat suite that doesn't respond to your commands. You cant run up that hill, lift that weight, pull yourself up hanging from a cliff. Your girl may say she's fine with your body being unsculpted but as soon as she sees that gym dude at the pool or work she'll be thinking of him not you. Look at yourself in the mirror and realize all this and learn to hate what you see. Use that hate young master vader, join the gym side, and become a douche bag like us.

You have to actually like lifting weights and training in general. Otherwise you're just a dyel.

After a certain point I became motivated by the fear of what would happen if I stop going. The fear of getting weaker keeps me going now, probably even more than the drive to improve. I have to "prove" to myself that I can still hit my lifts.

I find myself doing this with all my hobbies. I play chess because I'm afraid of getting worse if I don't. I practice guitar out of fear of having to dial back the metronome tempo, etc. I attribute some of my self-worth to each of these things, and I constantly have to prove to myself that I still can do it.

I went out to get takeout the other day with my girlfriend, my girlfriend asked me twice if I knew these two separate women as the literally turned around in the queue to stare at me. This plus we had to leave as another third girl while we were eating had started vaguely using her bar stool as a stripper pole staring at me the whole time, spreading her legs, etc.

Thats why you go to the gym mothefucker. I pay fuck all to go, and get stripper/baller experiences on the outside. FOMO man. The dream is real

Just go stop making excesses you fucking faggot, you think that successful people need a bunch of people to tell them to do something? Or do you think they just do it because they want to achieve something.

Probably can't talk since I only sometimes do 4 days, but consistently do 3 days.

Biggest thing was to pretty much point out to myself that I got a good set of hours in my evening each day that I don't do much else with, so I may as well spend at least one to two at the gym.

That and I had some people I regularly push to go, but in order to not be the scrub, make sure I'm the one going each time.

Also made it part of my weekly routine.

I LOVE THIS MEEM

I go 5 days/week consistently.
Just plan for it to happen, either go in the morning before work or right after or w/e and just go every time.
It's going to feel annoying to go over there at first, but once you're in the gym it's nice.
After a while you can start breaking your own PRs and you'll want to go.

I wish this girl did porn. my favorite kind of porn to.

Why is this dumb bitch wearing fresh ass white kicks so close to a muddy shoreline???? REEEEEEEEEEEE

Drug yourself with pre-workout
Used to take a scoop before workout for 5 days a week for a month, when I ran out I just kept going and I haven't used pre-workout since

literally live across from the gym. Have 5 day split now so I save juicy water money.

maybe people should stop posting women for attention when their thread is fucking garbage.
