Freedom and Democracy.

Pedophile cult got rekt by the federal government lmao

Pretty much. Guy was a cowboy too. Literally got in gunfights to become the leader of the cult after the old leader died.

ATF started a little fire

So April in the 90s.

>1993
Waco

>1994
Kurt Cobain's death

>1995
Oklahoma City bombing

>1999
Columbine massacre

Quite eventful. And I only remember the last one. Somewhat.

Anybody watched this? Are the authors right blaming everything on white supremacism? I wasn't under the impression that McVeigh can't be associated with that group. Ideologically I mean.

Oklahoma City bombing was the worst pre-911 attack. I blame the bombing for the decline of America.

He wasn’t but it’s easier to discredit him when you lump him in with racists
In reality he just hated the US government

Friend of mine was living in OKC when the bomb went off. Even he will admit the white supermacy angle is bullshit.

>I wasn't under the impression that McVeigh can't be associated with that group. Ideologically I mean.
Why "can't" he, given he had a copy of the fucking Turner Diaries on him when caught, which was the origin of the term "day of the rope".

>McVeigh
>guilty
Really makes me think

I think he was more of an anarchist and wanted chaos to ensue

The impressions l got from the documentaries l’d watched in colkege were that during his time in the army he had become extremely disenfranchised by the whole thing, that he didn’t feel like going and killing middle easterners was ‘defending freedom’ and he felt like the US government was a bully

And he learned to make bombs from the Anarchist Cookbook didn't he? The Turner Diaries involve a group of characters fighting against the government. Ideologically he was closer to those far right groups and they took part in the same protests in Waco but the documentary makes a strong case that he wasn't really one of them. What started his journey was realization that the Iraqi were people too. The long prologue about the racists, Ruby Ridge and Waco was to show how one thing let to the other but I felt completely disappointed with the ending statements being so simplistic. That Oklahoma was basically an attack of a white supremacist. I thought it wasn't what the documentary was saying at all.

ATF went full retard

Oklahoma city was just settling the score after Waco and ruby ridge

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Austin_suicide_attack

McVeigh had his successors.

Reminder that Timothy McVeigh did nothing wrong
>muh chilluns muh innocents
start shit get hit, playing nice was over when the feds pulled their shit at Ruby Ridge and Waco.
Smacking those cunts with some fertilizer and bleach was the only real way to tell them they can't get away with this shit. Their coffers are too big and their authority too grand, they had it coming badly.

They learned their lesson too, look at the rancher standoffs in recent years. Government is scared as hell of civilian militias

Don't forget how the NRA basically ramped up the heat on antigun politicians over Waco and RR, leading to a severely neutered AWB, which was probably the antigun lobby's last gasp at pushing through major legislation.

The govt picked the wrong retards to try and push around.

The ATF stepped on their snakes

A lot.

A sect of the Seventh Day Adventists broke off.
David Koresh molded this branch into a cult.
ATF suspected they were stockpiling illegal weapons.
Koresh offered to let the ATF inspect their paperwork but the ATF declined.
ATF obtained search and arrest warrants.
ATF claimed Koresh was running a meth lab - they weren't.
Branch Davidians learned about the raid - Koresh said he intended to talk with the ATF.
ATF decided to go through with the raid anyway as planned.

What happens next is up for debate.
>ATF says Branch Davidians shot first
>Branch Davidians say ATF shot first

Branch Davidians called emergency services within a minute of the shooting beginning to ask them to stop shooting.
2 hours of shooting went by.
Local sheriff called a ceasefire - though the ATF readily admitted they were for the ceasefire cause they were running low on ammo.
Branch Davidians let the ATF get the dead/wounded.
6 hours later ATF breaks the ceasefire.

FBI comes in now.
FBI cuts all Branch Davidian contact to outside world.
Some negotiation happens and the Davidians let some children out.
FBI let Branch Davidians make a video but decided not to release it to the public because it would garner them sympathy.
FBI started fucking with them more.
FBI starts driving Bradleys and M728s around, playing music/slaughterhouse sounds all through the night.
FBI cut all water and power.
Koresh ordered more Davidians to leave - they did and were arrested.
Janet Reno and Clinton okay'd the siege.
FBI decides to blow holes in the wall and pump in tear gas.
Sometime FBI fire pyrotechnic rounds despite instructions not to.
Fires started and everyone remaining died.

A month later the site was bulldozed destroying any remaining evidence.

>hey let's put all these flammable materials here when we know they're gonna shoot teargas lmao
>also lock our children inside and don't let them leave

This really what happened?

Pretty much.

The pyros were found not to have started the fires should have specified that but was worried about post length and character limit.

What's ATF? And what the fuck is wrong with American interior security organizations?

Except the retards all died and the govt got away with it scot free.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

See: An alphabet organization with a history of retarded shit.

The Fun and Gun police.

Federal dog exterminators

>THINK OF THE CHILDREN!
>KILL THE CHILDREN!

o silly little brainlet

The retards created a massive publicity disaster for every agency involved, and the govt in general. Between showing their massive incompetence, taking so long to end the situation, and huge expenditure in men and materials it was an absolute shitshow for the govt. A bunch of dead retards don't really matter.

I remember all of them.

>Between May 2004 and August 2005, ATF agents, in conjunction with Virginia state, county, and city police, conducted an operation at eight gun shows in the Richmond area to reduce straw purchases for criminals.[20]:10 In a February 2006 House subcommittee hearing, the show's owner said: "People were approached and discouraged from purchasing guns. Before attempting to purchase, they were interrogated and accused of being in the business without a license, detained in police vehicles, and gun buyer's homes were visited by police, and much more."[20]:19 A gun salesman testified that he was singled out for harassment by two ATF agents.[20]:28 The owner of a gun shop testified that he thought agents questioned female customers too often. He said that times had changed and more women were shopping for guns, adding: "It seems, however, to be the prevailing opinion for law enforcement at the gun show that any woman who brings a male friend for advice or support must be making a straw purchase."[20]:38 A private investigator said the NRA contracted her to go to Richmond to investigate dozens of complaints by NRA members of "massive law enforcement presence, residence checks, and minority buyers being followed, pulled over and their legally purchased guns seized."[20]:41 The purchasers were compelled by an ATF letter to appear at ATF offices to explain and justify their purchases. ATF stated this was a pilot program that ATF was planning to apply throughout the country. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, ATF agents visited a gun show's customers' homes a week after the show, demanding to see the buyers' guns or sale paperwork and arresting those who could not—or would not—comply.[20]
What the hell's up with limits on their authority, anyway?

Wait till you hear about the time they sold guns using FFL holders' licenses to known firearms traffickers with the intent for these guns to go to the Mexican cartels and attempt to track the purchase to arrest the cartels. This idea of course went completely wrong, and these weapons have ended up in numerous crime scenes.

daily reminder that an AK from this operation was used in the paris terror attacks

atf dropped dat mixtape

better they all burn to death than (allegedly) get molested

If you support the branch dravidians you are literally koresh's cuck

>"Koresh, a polygamist who insisted on the celibacy of his male followers, positioned himself as the protector of the community"

I don’t have to support some cult wackos to know the Feds way waayyy overstepped their bounds and royally fucked up the whole thing to boot

I support them in the sense that the ATF shouldn't have sperged out at them, yes.

It's actually spelt Waco

Cheeky cunt

so what's the problem with this? goverment attacking people who had gathered tons of legal weapons?

Or you live in Texas and think it’s shitty that they can use tanks to stomp cults for no real reason other than they wanted to yet I can’t even buy one to romp around the hill country in.
It’s kinda proof that the govt will drone you if they feel like it, and justify it and cover it up when they know they did wrong
that’s not exactly a comforting thought

Government gaining search warrants on reasoning that is literally false
Government gaining search warrants on reasoning that effectively states that purchases equate to illegal intentions
Government refusing active compliance by the group in question
Government ignoring attempts by the group to negotiate
Government actively and intentionally increasing hostility of the scenario
Government censoring the public from information regarding the scenario
Government functionally deciding that the group will commit suicide for them

Scary how similar this is to the Bundy ranch siege.

Theres tons of other scenarios. Maybe on the weekend, I might start an alphabet agency thread. That way I will have time to reply and add details.

Hammond ranch was just as bad if not worse, cause it was the BLM flexing their muscles in order to seize land for which the uranium rights were sold by Clinton to the Russians.

But really
What happened at Ruby Ridge?

Similar levels of ATF fuckery
>entrap a member of Aryan Nations on illegal short barreled shotgun charge
>blackmail him to become an informant on the AN
>he says no
>NFA charges filed
>he no shows court
>ATF sends raid squad to his family home at Ruby Ridge
>son walking dog finds ATF sneaking around
>BARKBARKBARK
>ATF shoots doggo
>boy shoots ATF agent
>ATF shoots at boy who then runs
>seige ensues
>everyone dies

Not quite correct. Here:

guy gets mad over land deal with Randy Weaver
judge sides with Weaver and sentences due to pay additional 21k to Weaver
guy writes letters to FBI/Sheriff asserting Weaver was threatening to kill governor/president/pope etc.
guy tells them that Weaver is a member of the Aryan Nations and has a fuckton of guns hidden
FBI/Secret Service/sheriff investigate and interview Weaver and his wife
Weavers deny allegations
Weaver was associated with Kuminick who was alleged to be Aryan Nations
Weaver states that Kuminick wasn't Aryan Nations but that he was Covenant, Sword and Arm of the Lord
Weaver reiterates that he is not Aryan Nations
Weaver files affidavit stating his personal enemies are trying to bring the fed down on him

In comes ATF to fuck everything up
Kuminick takes Weaver around and eventually introduces him to an ATF informant
Informant claims Weaver wanted to organize a group to fight the zionist occupied government
ATF claims Weaver sold them 2 sawn off shotguns shorter than min barrel length
Weaver claims that's horse shit
ATF tries to blackmail Weaver to become an informant
Weaver refuses
ATF files charges claiming Weaver is a bank robber with criminal convictions previously (this is all false)
Weaver is indicted on charges of making/possessing illegal weapons
Weaver is let out on bail
Court case becomes a fuckery because Weaver is hard to contact due to no phone
Court date is changed and letter is sent to attorney to give to Weaver telling him new date
Probation officer informs Weaver of a new date (but the wrong one)
Judge issues bench warrant
Judge is told of the fuck up in Weaver hearing the wrong date by probation officer
Judge decides not withdraw warrant
US Marshals decide to give Randy until the court day he knew of to appear in court
US Attorney's office calls up grand jury and tries to get the warrant dropped
They forgot evidence to the date fuck up
Grand jury says go get Weaver for jail now

US Marshals decide to treat Weaver as a fugitive
Weaver confused by inconsistent messages from lawyer and government decides to sit tight
Magistrate tells Weaver if he loses court case he will lose his land (leaving wife homeless) and the government will take his children
Weaver believes he won't get a fair trial
Marshals decide to negotiate
Assistant US attorney tells them no more negotiation
US Marshals start surveilance and build a threat profile
US Marshals create a profile basically stating Weaver is a green beret who will shoot on sight and has booby trapped his property
In reality, he's just a guy in a cabin
Media does a flyover and claims he shot at them (he didn't this is confirmed in FBI's after action report) but its used in drawing up rules of engagement

Now comes the fun

US Marshals dressed in camo with night vision and M16s are scouting the property
Marshals' throw rocks at dog kennel
Weaver's son and family friend come out to see what caused the ruckus
They decide to let a dog out and follow it cause they figured it smelt small game
US Marshals bump into Weaver's son and family friend

US Marshals shoot and kill the dog
Weaver's son fires back
Marshals kill Weaver's son
Family friend kills a marshal
Family friend is shot and injured
Everyone retreats

FBI, Idaho national guard, US Marshal's Special Ops all get involved now
Rules of Engagement are drawn up
ROE basically state if anyone has a gun, shoot to kill
Also kill all dogs

Snipers are dispatched before fbi negotiators get there
Sniper shoots Weaver injuring him
Sniper shoots and kills Weaver's wife
FBI Negotiators arrive
FBI Negotiators can't get shit done
Civilian negotiator talks them down and gets Weaver and company to surrender

>What the fuck happened?

God trolling the federal government for being no better than the Branch Davidians by playing religious war with Israel...

youtube.com/watch?v=ZH0U8TbhRmo

Ultimately:
>Weaver acquitted of all charges cept missing court date and does 18 months
>Family friend acquitted of all charges
>Weavers sue the government for 200 million, but settle out of court for 100k for Randy, and 1 mill for each of his 3 daughters
>Family friend sues the government and wins 380k
>Sniper who killed the Weaver wife was charged with Manslaughter
>Feds moved the court case to federal court and got the sniper off due to sovereign immunity

Same sniper was at the Waco siege. The first shots fired were from the building he was in, and there were three spent cartridges collected from his position however the fed claimed the rounds could have been left by the ATF as they had been there before and that it was impossible to match to said sniper because after the Waco siege he had his rifle rebarrelled.

...

>same sniper fucked sit up at Waco
That l didn’t know now l’m just fucking mad

One of his own brethren even originally ratted on him before telling the story.

>First he said he heard the Sniper firing
>Then he changed his story to hearing that Snipers at the building announced shots had been fired
>Then he changed his story to the snipers at the building witnessed gunfire coming from the Branch Davidian's compound

Also worth note that Ruby Ridge was 8 months before Waco iirc.

>the govt got away with it scot free

>everyone dies
Only the wife and son died. I guess you can count the dog too. But everyone else eventually surrendered.

I'm writing a bit on the modern militia movement by talking to some of their leaders and going to rallies. Not many want to admit it because they'd be associated with McVeigh but it's a long and complicated history that can't be brushed off how the media tries with, "Oh they got what was coming." It goes from Aryan Nations to Ruby Ridge, to Waco and OKC

Will bump with the info I have so far, even go into the official story I heard about OKC from some Michigan Militia dudes I talked to - their version is weird as fuck and involves Japan.

>in the 80s and 90s there were movements of racism across the country
>Aryan Nations, Creativity Alliance, The Order, all domestic terrorists
>in Ruby Ridge, a Vietnam Green Beret and prepper builds a cabin, lives off the grid with his family
>he's a racist, a member of an Aryan Nations church, which are basically similar in belief to Black Israelites, thinking they're the chosen race, and stockpiling weapons - they're much more violent though
>in town, an undercover agent befriends Randy, asks him to sell him a sawed off shotgun
>Randy does, and is told if he informs on his church, he'll be let off
>he refuses, holes up in his cabin for days
>agents get royally pissed and tired
>six of them dress in camo, approach the property with no identification showing which agency they're from (Randy could have easily mistaken them for rival skinheads). They also had no warrant
>Randy's little boy is out walking, he has a rifle in his hand and a dog at his side
>agents shoot his pupper, then spray the kid when he raises his pistol
>standoff draws in the feds now, hundreds of them, and crowds of angry Nazis and libertarians
>Rivera FUCKING LIES and says he was shot at in the helicopter while flying with the sheriff; Both the sheriff and the pilot say it was a lie
>FBI says shoot to kill

(1/?)

>Government is scared as hell of civilian militias

hahaha no.
They're scared of public opinion about killing a bunch of militia. Its a PR thing.

Why does the US have so many agencies they should just have a Federal Police instead of FBI, ATF, DEA etc

2/?

>FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi (the name is important, remember it) shoots Randy in the leg
>Randy crawls to the cabin his son's body is in
>His wife comes to the door, unarmed and with a baby in her arms; Lon shoots her in the face
>He said he couldn't see the baby, but they literally found a sketch of what he saw on a notepad in his hotel room, which was brought up in the courtroom later; He saw two other people, a baby and no guns
>FBI and ATF collectively shit themselves
>call in militia leader Bo Gritz, a special forces officer from Vietnam who was on good terms with the Feds, and popular among right wingers for traveling to Laos and searching for POWs left behind
>Bo realizes they've killed Randy's family, immediately calls media together along with the skinheads and libertarians and spills the beans, "The feds killed his family."
>Randy surrenders, is found innocent of murder and only does a few years
>Media laughs, says they deserve it
>ATF starts a plan
>"We want to raid a large compound of religious nuts, have plenty of excuse to do it, and we want to look cool. We need to find an easy target."
>Ask the FBI, who finds the church in Waco
>Informants live across the street, but all the Davidians know they're informants
>the charges aren't too concrete: The judge who approved it also approved warrants describing upper and lower receivers of AK-47s, which have no lower receiver
>boiled down to the most simple charges, they were investigating what the agents across the street heard, what sounded like an automatic rifle, which the ATF had no record of (would have only been a $200 tax)
>the child abuse allegations were made by a member kicked out a few years back for claiming he was Jesus, and got mad when they kicked him out. He also claimed they were cannibals, and saw it clearly although he was blind
>these were investigated twice by the state and found false
>they find out that the guns were using a legal Hellfire Trigger (similar to bumpstock)

3/?

What this user said is true;
Sorry for basically posting a pamphlet but I think it's cool history, the aesthetic is amazing desu

>raid is botched as fuck
>FBI informants across the street say one of theirs inside the church was tipped off that the Davidians knew a raid was coming
>FBI begged ATF to back off, but they had a shitload of cattle cars on the way filled with men; The country is flat and they could be seen from miles away
>An agent fucking blows his head off as he exits the truck, another shoots himself in the leg as he climbs a ladder to the second floor
>They all spray the front door, fearing the Davidians were in there, armed and ready; At no point in the video can you see shots fired on them. Koresh calls the cops, begs them to stop (you can hear gunfire)
>Cops freak out, ATF never informed them
>Footage shows 3 agents go into a busted window on the second floor while a fourth throws in a grenade and blindly fires his rifle in several times. A bullet grazes his helmet and he makes it away safely, but he killed three of his fellow agents (coincidentally all Clinton bodyguards, which is not just a conspiracy; Bill admitted this)
>call it off as they ran low on ammo
>blah blah blah deals deals deals
>wrap the fucking building with razor wire so they can't escape (it's still there). pump every window on the building with CS gas, open wind tunnels on all 4 sides for air circulation and ram into a room with a light on (knowing it was a kerosene lantern, as they'd cut the power weeks ago)
>block the underground tunnel to the storm shelter off, where they'd be safe it there was a fire
>survivors say they were shot as they tried to leave
>one of the developers of FLIR made a statement to the media that the footage showed people gunned down as they fled from the back door, which the media couldn't access

4/?
>Turns out Lon Horiuchi was a sniper in the barn next door
>Media started questioning if he was trigger happy, so he immediately re-bored his rifle
>The milita saw this as an attack on religion. At the time, the feds were seen as the "Army of Babylon," working hand-in-hand with the UN and "NWO" to take away sovereignty and self defense
>Militia back then was MUCH different than today, often working closely with racist groups and actual Nazis

For all the bad shit they did, they got some good work done. The Montana Freemen, some crazy anti-fed guys who issued arrest warrants and death threats to local politicians, were being surrounded by the ATF and FBI. Militia showed up and stared the feds down, eventually the Freemen (who were actually criminals but didn't deserve to be tortured like Randy or the Davidians) surrendered peacefully. They did this countless times with families prepping and being told off with eminent domain. Then came the OKC bombing.

I'll give you the fucking crazy version of the story that I was told by people in the Michigan Militia. I can't even attempt to greentext the whole thing but basically;

>Japanese currency was getting too powerful
>the US 'touched' Japan, through the Tokyo Subway attacks, and left evidence that only Japanese intelligence could find, but sent a message
>Japan sent some of their own guys who were responsible in some way for the OKC incident

Whatever the story, the Michigan Militia was the brunt of the media's focus, being the largest, most capable, least racist milita
>They were infiltrated, and most of the command who believed the Japan Theory were removed, where they still maintain a militia which was very recently announced in Kenai, Alaska

I've heard it said the majority of the militia just quit, fearing feds would kill them in their sleep or suicide them. Another third went underground, where the movement slowly died down, and the third that continued operating but fizzled out.

The end

I went to elementary school with Terry Nichol’s nephew

A trigger happy chink

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lon_Horiuchi

Politically, because it sounds better to say, "we're creating a commission/task force/agency to deal with this problem" every time some new crisis to exploit comes. From an administrative standpoint, having ten agencies instead of one means more people employed.

This looks so weirdly aesthetically pleasing.

Government happened

Weaver was never a member of Aryan Nations.

he also took part in a kkk rally

Source?

>that pic

what about the fact that the pyramids of giza where built long before:
A. the longitude/latitude system were organized
B. the metric system was created

?

>Bombs building full of murderers
>Apologizes when he finds out the building had children in it

>Literally burn men, women, and children alive because they can

Kewl.

Heretics gonna heretic, I hope the ATF burns down every non Catholic church in this country. Burn in hell heretics.

How fucking stupid do you have to be to just take someone's narrative as gospel when they've provided no sources for anything they've stated?

Because l can make my own google searches Lon

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lon_Horiuchi

I'm trying to understand what you mean by "the Japan theory" but it's coming across as a schizophrenic rambling, can you please explain it more clearly?

Well, every time Jesus comes to Planet
Earth they crucify Him and/or burn Him.

...

Another similar event was Rainbow Farm:

Pro marijuana campground
Host part picnic/part woodstock style events with a pro-pot image
Used legal loophole that allowed owner to hold events without arrests by having concessionaires/employees not sell weed
Some kid who got weed there drove high and ended up in a car crash killing himself and injuring others
County prosecutor starts an investigation
State police serve tax fraud warrant and find 200 marijuana plants
Owner and his gay partner are arrested on a bunch of charges including running a drug house, felony manufacture, and weapons charges
They're son is taken into foster care
They are facing 20 years in jail but are out on bail
State decides to seize the campground under civil asset forfeiture laws
Gay guys fail to arrive at court date

So this is where things get left up to interpretation

State police allege
>they burned down 10 structures on their farm
>shot a news helicopter
>shot at and missed a police helicopter
>acquired assault weapons
>boobytrapped and mined the area
>sprayed bullets into the woods to keep the cops away

FBI gets involved
>FBI arrive with armored cars and 50 agents
>gay guys shoot a civilian helicopter (this time there is proof of this)
>gays shoot at an armored car
>owner was walking and saw an FBI agent - allegedly he raised his gun on the agent
>Owner is shot 5 times in the head, and 3 in the chest
>another guy who is a regular shot and injured
>gay boyfriend sets house on fire
>as gay boyfriend leaves, he is shot in the head

And that's the end of Rainbow Farms. Its worth noting that both the Police and the FBI would not let the owners talk to their lawyer at all during the Siege even though she offered to mediate. A local neighbour was doing a lot of runs in between because he was friends with the owners, but the cops fucked over many options for cooperation. When the owners asked to talk to the media and apologized for shooting the news helicopter, they nixed that idea.

FBI also picked up main owner's walkie talkie when they killed him and called the other gay guy to say his partner won't be coming back.

>I blame the bombing for the decline of America.

Why?

How old are you nigga?

PBS slants everything liberal, its just a matter of how much.

Ah, so many good memories of the Clinton-Reno years.

Here's another interesting case of clusterfuckery.

freeleonard.org/case/

Governments like Jesus killed.
Whether or not religion based.

Because of the limited constitutional role of the federal government and because of a historical fear of centralised military tyranny. The reason e.g. FBI agents are called "special agents" is because they have jurisdiction only over certain federal crimes, as opposed to "general agents" i.e. state police/state highway patrol. (In most US states where the state police are called "highway patrol" they nevertheless have jurisdiction to arrest and investigate all crimes within the state, and the name reflects their most common role rather than any limitation on their jurisdiction.) While states have plenary power so long as they do not infringe enumerated rights and restrictions, the federal government is constitutionally a limited government with only those powers the Constitutional document explicitly or implicitly grants it. (As far as implied powers, the "interstate commerce" power has in the past century been expanded to include almost anything you can think of, but the feds role is still much more topically limited than that of the states). Therefore, the federal government created agencies piecemeal (revenue enforcement, alcohol, treasury agents, etc.) as needed. The FBI if anything was am attempt to bring investigative functions under one roof.

Something something
I fought the law and the law won

Along with the Constitutional limitations on the federal government, many Americans, especially historically, we're very fearful of a centralized policing power. This is especially true because the central national police in many countries are often quasi-militsry (i.e. the French gendarmerie or Italian carabinieri) and Americans were very against blurring military and civilian roles, or having military involvement in everyday life.

Underrated

For what it's worth, the U.S. marshals were/are general law enforcement agents in territories directly governed by the federal government.

>watching the trailer a month ago got me interested in the story

How about MOVE?

>anarcho primitivist, black liberation environmentalist, communalist group
>frequently protest zoos and speakers they dislike

So everything goes south very quickly for them

Police obtain a court order to force MOVE to vacate where they are living
Most leave, some stay
Police move in to remove remainers
Shootout occurs - 1 cop dead, 7 cops/5 firefighters/3 MOVE members/3 bystanders injured
All 9 members involved in the shootout receive 100 years in prison as sentence for 3rd degree murder

Things settle down for a bit

MOVE relocates to housing complex
Neighbours complain about them protesting with a bullhorn
Police obtain warrants for 4 members contempt of court/illegal firearms possession/terror threats
Mayor and Police commisioner change classification to make MOVE a terrorist organization

Police raid begins
Police lob tear gas into building
Armed standoff occurs
Police commissioner orders building be bombed
Police drop 2x one pound bombs
Bombs ignite the fuel tanks of a gas powered generator that is on the roof
Fire spreads like mad catching another 65 houses in the area
Police tell the firefighters not to act to put out the fire - but to just let it burn
Police shoot at people fleeing the building
11 people die (5 are kids)
250 people from the neighbourhood are left homeless

The investigative commission into the event lead to a public apology. No one involved was criminally charged except for one of the survivors who was given 7 years for rioting and conspiracy. Later a federal jury ordered the city to pay the survivors 1.5 million.

It’s a weird theory, I just heard about it but figured Veeky Forums might be interested. Basically some woman claiming to have been involved at a low level with the White House computer systems approached Norm, leader of the Michigan Militia, and said that the Japanese felt threatened by America; Japan’s currency was getting more powerful in the region and the US was scared it would be a contest, so naturally Japan got scared of how the US would handle it. According to this anonymous woman, she said that one of the directors of the project to program WH computers (forget his name, but it’s on the screen cap) retired to a comfy position in the Murrah building.

Anonymous woman told Norm and other militia leaders that this guy realized that the Japanese were bugging the White House and informed his chain of command, and retired soon after. The White House couldn’t just admit that Japan was spying on them, because it would’ve broken an alliance, so they attacked Japan’s subway system basically to prod them and put them in their place. Japan retaliated shortly after, by setting up McVeigh possibly as a patsy, striking the Federal Building and taking out the mole who ratted then out, something that - according to the Michigan Militia, people in the government realized. The rumors of a building attack were there for a few weeks in the OK/TX area, Norm said this in front of Congress - but nobody knew when.

I don’t think I believe it, but the group behind the subway gassings always struck me as off. Media says they were a simpleton cult, but they had a huge arsenal that included tanks and helicopters, and supposedly even tested a nuke in Banjawarn, Australia - something locals will still say they saw after Aum Shinrikyo bought the property and vanished soon after. They made plenty of visits to North Korea and the USSR; Their top scientist was killed in broad daylight in front of the media by 2 North Koreans with knives at a press conference. Smells fishy
