Who is God?

Who is God?

Adolf Hitler was the closest we ever got to a living god

The true answer is that no one know.
People believe things but it's still a bunch of unbacked claims you must take on faith, it's fine if you believe something but don't pretend to KNOW.

>The true answer is that no one know.
Solid answer, the Bible never talks about--
>rant about knowledge vs. faith
Oh...

I don't look down on people who have faith in a religion but from an objective viewpoint, it's indeed not the same thing as *knowing*.
What is wrong with my opinion?

magical dude who told us to build churches and praise him

The writers of the Bible didn't know either.

>from an objective viewpoint
If you're looking at religious beliefs from an objective viewpoint, you're doing it wrong

Unless you want to be an insider, no.
You can examine religions from many neutral viewpoints : philosophy, history, sociology, etc...

neutral viewpoints are inherently secular. You cannot be neutral when the argument of one side is on a different fucking plane from the other.

I do. I look down on them. Their critical reasoning faculties are highly suspect once I discover they believe in magic, an afterlife or any other supernatural explanations for the unknown. What is wrong with naturalism? Do they fear it? That's something I don't understand about the faithful but I suspect it is fear driving their rejection of reality. Fear of death and other things like being responsible for yourself.

What are you trying to say? I don't get it.

>If uh cant see it wif muh primative ocular wholes thn it ant reel.

>if I can't see it, smell it, touch it, taste it, or feel it
>if nobody can create an instrument to detect it
>if its existence isn't implied by anything else which has been observed
>if the idea doesn't make logical sense
Then it's rational to doubt its existence.

Yahweh, the Warrior King of Israel

TOGETHER WITH JESUS CHRIST HIS SON UNITED BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

>t. empiricist brainlet

Yaldabaoth

Fur nuff, but when I try and put myself into the shoes of someone who doesn't believe that's when I get scared, believing when I die then there is nothing. Its not being scared of dying, I have faced death before and was calm, its going no where being, nothing that scares me.

*tips fedora*

>who is the most high
>answers naming the demiurge

Are you baiting or just name dropping things you don't know about?

I believe you mean Yahushuah and Shekinyah

How is religion a non-empirical source of knowledge?
How do you know how your religion is true if it's faith based?

>faith based?
It's based on rationalizing what came before the material observable universe. I definitely understand your take on the party line.

I MEAN THE LAMB OF GOD AND THE COUNSELOR

If you are not talking about the christian god sure, why no?
>I definitively understand your take on the party line.

So you've confirmed my suspicion and reinforced my bias. Gee thanks. You are afraid of the truth and terrified of mortality. Not death itself but the fact you will cease to exist upon death. You find comfort in faith.

It's intellectually dishonest. I hope you have a crisis of faith and realise how dumb you were being. Embrace the void.

Dude, why do you need to be an asshole about the supposed "superiority" of your beliefs?

...

Jesus Christ was literally a dying God.

God is invisible, ineffable, incomprehensible, and inconceivable.

God is ever-existing and ever the same.

God sprung us from non-existence into being.

God is cause of change while being yet unchanged.

God is the mover of all things that move while being yet unmoved.

God is most rational reason.

God is most accurate truth.

God is most righteous justice.

God is self-existent existence.

God is goodness itself.

God decides what is rational and what is irrational.

God decides what is true and what is false.

God decides what is right and what is wrong.

God decides what exists and what does not.

God decides what is good and what is bad.

Reason, truth, justice, existence, and goodness are all the same thing, and they all subsist in perfection and totality within a being which is called God.

Most simply, we can understand that God is existence itself, pure being. Beyond that, we mostly know God by what he is not, which is why we describe God as indescribable, why we perceive God as imperceptible, why we understand God as beyond understanding, and think of God as unthinkable.

>God is my asshole

HAHAHAHAHAHA FEDORA X------DDDDDDDD NICE MEMED
DOOS VAULT

My asshole has its origin in God but it is not God.

It's true though
