I don't know anything about neural networks, but as far as I understand instead of you writing the algorithms there's a method for setting objectives and giving the network time to "figure out" an optimal way to achieve those objectives.
What would be the problem with this? Would it fail and if yes why?

The guy who runs the coinindicator bot on twitter has done a lot of work here. He has a model that uses machine learning and runs 169 different indicators to predict an increase of 3% in a couple of hours. He'd be cool to talk to about this.

As a programmer this is painful to read. If programming neural networks were just "Just do it"-tasks, everyone would do it.

If your AI only wants to complete trades it could theoretically just alternate trades between the first two shitcoins it finds and trade constantly everything between them and compensate the negative by completing trades constantly.

What could actually be used is a bot searching for huge trends and investing in potential moon missions and jumping off as soon as it deems that the mission is over.

Well I thought about downloading past data but only letting it access it up to a certain point, essentially simulating it being run in the past. And also "putting more pressure on it" in the beginning, by making the trade deadline shorter.
How much time is ALOT if I only have the processing power of a few PCs and run as many instances as I can? Just a long time, or trying to decipher SHA256 kind of long?

People have already cove up with exploits against ml.

I've approach is to discover learned facts that adjust a model and manipulate those facts. Sometimes networks are trained on many more factors than the programmer could check.

The other approach is to subtly control a fact you know the model is looking at during training. Then use your power over that fact to make the AI make the wrong choice in the wild.

lol creating a crypto trading bot with 90%+ accuracy is not possible in this volatile and unstable market. The movements of the crypto market is full of manipulation, fake walls, p&d, you name it.

Creating 99% accurate crypto bot can be done if you can put the variables like the news, hype, the human psychology and many other things. If you can program a bot like that then you can be a billionaire in just 1 year in this market, but computer science especially in AI is not improving that much since the 1990s..
