No it's actually quite an obtrusive problem. It causes sleep apnea, mouthbreathing (leads to dry mouth, which leads to bad teeth), and TMJ. So it's going to be two years of braces and a jaw surgery after the first year. I think it's worth the struggle for mechanical and aesthetic benefit.
