Next time, do two

More chin ups

Do one every couple hours = a few per day

Repeat a few days later at 2x every few hours = a few more per day

Repeat until desired amount is possible in one set

I can only do 0 chin ups and homegym doesn't have negative chinup machine

what do

>negative chinup machine
what

stand on a chair, hold yourself for second, and slowly lower. repeat

hold the bar, jump, slowly go down

it ain't to figure out

Probably Kys desu

Do one every time you go to the bathroom. In 2 weeks you'll be doing five.

...

You could start with feet elevated inverted rows. They sort of hit the same muscles but are easier and should feel pretty hard if you can't do a chinup yet.

Do that chinup until you can do another one. Then do them. Honestly it took me like a month and a half to go from 0 to 15 pullups. Do them whenever you can.

>Honestly it took me like a month and a half to go from 0 to 15 pullups
Same here bro. We're gonna make it.

Negatives and you can self-assist using your legs similar to If gym, use lat pulldown machine.

If homegym, bentover barbell rows, both supinated and pronated grips. Also barbell pullovers.

>If gym, use lat pulldown machine.
Overrated. Doesn't actually do much to improve your pullups. Negatives reign supreme.

start boxing
idk why it works but it does

do negative chin ups. as in just the going down part and do it really slowly.

also, lose weight and work on lats and biceps more. 20 lbs can be the difference between 1-10 chin ups.

Keep doing one until you can do two.

Repeat process.

Win.

Keep doing that one chin up until you can do two, and so on and so forth

Tl:Dr Keep it up

Literally as simple as this. Assuming you own a chair and a table, that is.

I have a question regarding negs for OP.

Should OP do his one chin up and THEN do negs. Or should he only do negs?

That's not a negative chin up machine..

>can't do a single chin up
>"do more chin ups" t. Veeky Forums

Do what you can and on failure finish set with negatives.

lose weight. you shouldn't have any problems doing at least 10 in a row if you're not a fatass.

do a lot of pushups alot and DO NOT give up

I got the same advice but for pull ups, eventually I said fuck it and did the assisted machine until I got the first one in.

The "do more" method only works once you get your first one. Ignore asshats telling you to do more when you can't do one, and either do assisted or do negatives

Do one chinup everyday M-F for a month.
Don't try to do more or less. Just do that one.
On April the first do your max amount of chinups.
You'll be surprised to find that you can do a lot more then one.

Get the fucking resistance bands and tie them from the bar.

-fatty.

Negatives are a fucking meme. I could do one really shaky pullup, so I started doing negatives 3x a week. In 2 months I got really good at doing negatives, but it literally didn't improve my pullups at all.

If you want to get better at pullups, DO PULLUPS. Get a pullup bar and install it in a doorway. Every time you go through the door, do as many as you can, even if it's just 1. If you can't do 1, look up easier pullup variations (Convict Conditioning has some good ones) or get bands to do assisted pullups. In 2 weeks doing this I went from 1 really shaky pullup to 4 good form ones.
