Best fighting sport/martial art

What is it, Veeky Forums?

Clearly Sambo

Look at all the places near enough to you that you'd be willing to go.
Filter out the bullshido
Of the remaining places find the one with the best teacher than you interact well with.
Thats the best style (for you).

depends on the situation.

if you're a bjj black belt and you have multiple attackers then you're fucked. a striking art is better suited for such a situation.

do both disciplines in some form or fashion. good endurance/stamina will get you far in a fight as well, assuming you have basic defensive techniques down.

How long do you need to see what an martial art has to offer?
I was thinking of picking up some, and figured maybe I'd try like 3 at the same time for a month, and then just drop whatever I don't like.
Is a single month enough to make up your mind about a martial art?

...

BTW, I think I'm gonna start Muay Thai, seems like the obvious choice given that I fapped to futa all the time before going noporn.

Yeah, 1 month is enough depending on how frequent you attend classes.

Always keep in mind on what reason you're training martial arts in the first place so you can choose what is more up your alley. (ex. competitive, self-defense, general fitness/as a hobby)

Striking = Boxing and Muay Thai

Grappling = Bjj and Judo

Mma = great all round combo

Alot of mma fighters do all of the above

BJJ + Thai Boxing + Judo

>no pipebomb
You disappoint me, Veeky Forums.
It's like you don't even want to win.

muay thai

clinching is severely underrated

what? No. Clinch throw knees. Dirty boxing. Do it.

...

Dirty boxing is just entry level Muay Thai

Muay Thai

have fun doing bjj in a streetfight lol

>take down the guy
>begin to armlock him
>waiting for him to tap
>snap his arm in two
>forgot people did not tapout in streetfights
>tfw guy has a broken arm and everyone is shocked

>his mates go ape on you while you're doing an armlock on him

>streetfight
>not using judo to fucking throw the fuckers into the pavement
never fight with someone who will use judo against you

bamp

I did some judo as a kid (ages 10-12), how is it effective outside of a judo tournament? Should I get back into it?
