Cliche answer, but Downfall (2004).

the eternal jew

Schindler's List

Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter, aka Generation war
Be ready for nihilism

Stalingrad (1993)

Die Brücke

Any films that show how reliant the Germans still were on horse drawn logistics?

Stalingrad from 1993, it's a German-Czech co-production, mostly historically accurate, very little politics. I hate movies like Generation War and Schindler's list because they attempt to cram a moral message down your throat in a very sentimental way.

Too short for the amount of material they were trying to cram into it.

If they had made it 7-9 episodes it would've been great. Also, Hitler: The Rise of Evil has kino-tier costume design (the plot is crap though)

I'd go with Cross of Iron, although it's more of a fair portrayal of the common German soldiers than of Nazis.

>Hitler: The Rise of Evil
That sounds like a very unbiased title.

that children's song remix at the start is so damn catchy

About five minutes in, you can see horses being led around. Also great in that it shows how reliant the Germans were on local railways (the German unit depicted in the movie start on an Italian passenger train and are later transfered to a Russian freight train on the way to Stalingrad).

jud ßüss

what do you mean by fair pray tell? like portray them as good boys who didnt do nothing or the "war is hell on both sides" kind?

They do give young Hitler a somewhat sympathetic portrayal, but it pretty quickly devolves into depicting him as this insane lunatic, rather than the cold, calculating figure he really was (at least until the cocaine actually made him crazy).

I only really liked it because of the effort that went into set pieces and costumes though.

That doesn't look very historically accurate. Is that Germanys entire Tiger stockpile just charging forward?

Valkyrie was decent.

Home Alone 2

The special effects people went over the top obviously.

Amerimutts will believe it's accurate just because the soldiers are speaking German.

They kinda played down the ulterior motives of the plotters though. Most were in it because they knew Germany was losing the war and hoped to negotiate a settlement where they could keep at least some of the territory they had won rather than lose it all. At least one member of the plot was the former head of an Einatzgruppen detachment.

This series actually caused a massive outrage here, with accusations of whitewashing Germans after depicting our anti-German partisans mistreating the Jews.

Say what you want, it was produced by Germans. The historically accuracy or lack there of is on them.

>Ctrl + F "Das Boot"
>only 1 result
Really niggers?

Oh fuck yeah, considering I'm German and used to actually sing that song.

It's liberal propaganda, they want you to believe that everyone who opposed Hitler was automatically an anti-racist liberal.

Trump is part-Jewish though.

Speaking of which, child Donald being taken with his family to a Nazi concentration camp and murdered in the gas chambers for being of partial Jewish ancestry/his father's friendly dealings with Jews would make for an interesting alternate history story (as part of Man in the High Castle universe or something).

Could be the battle of Kursk

That's what's being depicted actually

this

Has anyone ever considered making a movie exclusively about the Night of the Long Knives? Usually it takes a back seat in most films it's depicted in.

I bet they would make Ernst Rohm into a Milo Yanpopapulos tier flamboyant faggot. I mean, most people even today unironically believe he was killed for his homosexuality thanks to the gay lobby shilling it for decades.

>thanks to the gay lobby shilling it for decades.
Wait, what? Are you American perchance? Nobody here that knows about the night of the long knives thinks it's because he was gay.

why isn't goering their guy? or is he?

Yes, American liberals unironically believe that was the reason.

Well, the SA headquarters in Berlin at one point was a old gay bar or something

Goering wasn't gay. He was all kinds of degenerate but not gay.

Sorry user, but your aryan supermen practiced the zerg rush as well.

If you discount the overuse of coincidences to progress the plot, this series looks fairly accurate to me.

>literally every tank is a tiger

Id actuslly like to see this made into a movie

>Trump is part-Jewish though.
Delicious new /pol/ meme?

>source: my ass

>Delicious new /pol/ meme?

More like historical fact. His father also lied about his German ancestry for years.

mileswmathis.com/trump.pdf

I'd like to see a movie about the U-Boat base in Antarctica. The Nazis did a lot to save the whales.

goering liked to snort drugs off hookers breasts while eating and drinking too much.

That explains why he married all his children to jews and had access to financial wealth.

WW2 Cinematic Universe when?

No, there isn't a single film showing the amount of suffering caused by German soldiers.

>we can actually make my shipping Anne Frank pregnant with Magneto's child a reality

youtube.com/watch?v=ubUtub9NG4E

Kursk pretty much was exactly that yes

Germans were actually highly disciplined.

nigger there's bee more holocaust movies than there were jews in the holocaust
I'd like to see some kino about german soldiers at normandy, or finnish soldiers during the winter war.

You find most military's are

>I'd like to see some kino about german soldiers at Normandy
There weren't many of them

Which is irrelevant (and not even true) considering their official policies were brutal and caused death of millions of non-combatants.

Most "holocaust" films aren't even about the holocaust. They don't show what happened in Treblinka or Sobibor, they barely show actions of Einsatzgruppen in the East, they don't show how Germans incited the locals to murder Jews in pogroms and so on. And the Holocaust is of course just a small part of German war crimes and crimes against humanity.

only correct answer

There's really no such thing as a "holocaust film" outside of documentaries, they're just hyper emotional films where the Holocaust makes a nice setting for the DRAMA

>Sobibor
>Einsatzgruppen in the East

They already got their movies

> Soviets having one rifle per two men and happily machine-gunning their own retreating troops
>accurate and politically neutral

but they did in fact happily machine gunned down their own retreating troops

Wrong movie dipshit

You fucking idiot

Blocking detachments mostly rounded up deserters.
Whoops. That's Enemy at the Gates, right?

>be Magneto
>planning to escape from Auschwitz during a riot the prisoners are planning a few days
>he has a chance encounter with Anne Frank while clearing luggage from a deportation train
>Anne managed to slip away from the group of new arrivals bound for the gas chambers and hide in a darkened corner the guards weren't watching
>Magneto was blind as a bat, but Anne could see everything perfectly
>feeling drawn to her from an inexplicable reason, Magneto decides to allow Anne to join his escape plan, figuring her ability to see so well in the dark will come in hand
>Auschwitz prisoners riot a few days later
>Anne and Magneto manage to slip out of the camp during the chaos via the sewer network with Anne guiding them out
>Anne explains she inexplicably developed excellent night vision while in hiding
>Magneto comes to realize both of them have unusual abilities
>once in the relative safety of the woods outside the camp, Anne repays Magneto for saving her by having sex with him
>during their time hiding in the woods, Magneto's ability to craft weapons from scrap metal combined with Anne's night vision turn them both into excellent hunters
>Anne discovers she's pregnant
>knowing that Operation Tempest is in full swing, Magneto decides that their best chance at survival is to try and find the Polish Home Army
>very pregnant Anne and Magneto spend the next nine months wandering the war-torn Polish countryside, trying to avoid being killed by the Germans (and later the Red Army) and having sexual trysts in inappropriate places (caves, abandoned buildings, open fields etc.).
>Anne gives birth around war's end and manages to help Magneto and their baby into the Western Allied occupation zone
>finding out that her entire family perished, Anne decides that there's nothing left for her in the Netherlands and join Magneto in hunting down ex-Nazis

There's your outline for the plot, now all we need is a cameo of Stan Lee being taken to the gas chambers.

thats about 12 tigers which is exactly a company of a schwere panzerabteilung

unlikely to be used as infantry support at any stage of the war it could have happened, they were always assigned to a division/kampfgruppe, apart from 1 abteilung, which was permanently assigned to an SS panzer division

>40:00
>literal demonic roaring in background when he looks up the swastika in a book

it was fucking wildly propagandized, it's HITLER guys, you don't need to EMBELLISH

Robert Carlyle was incredible as Hitler though

This
It pretty accurately portrayed them as just guys being forced into a shitty situation and fighting for each other rather than some sort of racialist ideal or fascistic will to power.

Pic related is pretty good.

It's worth watching just for Brian Cox's portrayal of Goering.

>can we get a fair perspective on one of the most murderous regimes in memory?

Triumph des Willens

>german movie
>nihilistic
shocking

There is nothing like that in this movie though retard.

I thought the score evoked the feeling Hitler was looking for while selecting a symbol pretty well. Later on in the movie he describes it as "Aryan. Pure. Unconquerable" and I think the "demonic roaring" fits that pretty well.

What irked me about the movie are all the scenes that aim to make Hitler look pointlessly evil. He is literally Hitler, there's no need to invent his purported violent behaviour towards animals or abuse of Eva Braun; in fact, showing his private life truthfully would provide a good contrast.

>Nazi
>german
Not exactly the same. Hitler himself joked that he had a nazi airforce, a conservative army and a communist navy.

(In B4 only SS committed atrocities.)

>communist navy

He said Christian Navy you dingus

>Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter,
That's not accurate at all. It's a German propaganda.

Doesn't exactly cover the entire German side of the war but gives a good insight into what it would have been like to serve in an unterseeboot and how rapidly it could denazify you.

You don't need a movie to know that the Nazi's weren't bad guys.

>Nazi's weren't bad guys
>Posts a quote from WW1
Really made me drink

You obviously don't understand the point i'm trying to make.

No, he just did not assume that you are a retard who uses Germans and Nazis as synonyms. He was wrong in that regard sadly.

Again.
Not seeing the point. It's okay maybe when you grow up you're IQ will be high enough to comprehend basic things :)

No, it's even better; a fictional quote from WW1.

Is it? I always liked this quote.

Paul Bäumer is the protagonist of All Quiet on the Western Front and of course you like, it's written by a world famous author.

It's even better since the author didn't even want his book to be anti-war and wasn't in the trenches himself. He based his book on Ernst Junger's memoirs "Storm of Steel", which, while also including scenes of cameraderie or sympathy towards the enemies, gives a strong impression that war is awesome.

Fuck thats perfect

Not sure how anti-war or not it was intended to be, the sequel certainly is. Although it's mainly about how nobody cares about the veterans and their struggle in civilian life.
