Varicocele

Does anyone have this shit? I think it's fucking me on up my squats/deadlifts, whenever I go heavy I get that constricting dragging pain somewhere in my groin. It's not super painful but it's really uncomfortable and scary. This is making me want to fucking kill myself, can't even go hard on squats, fml.

Go to the doctor, user.

Had one since 13, maybe 12. You?

Which side is it on? How old are you? Any varicose veins elsewhere? Any other times it aches or is in serious pain?

>You?
Probably around 13 too, not sure.
>Which side is it on?
Left.
>How old are you?
23.
>Any varicose veins elsewhere?
No.
>Any other times it aches or is in serious pain?
Not really, used to feel very mild dragging pain, very seldom.

When I do heavy deadlifts it sometimes feels like the whole area contracts painfully and then it stops and kind of twitches, it's scary as fuck. Has happened maybe 4-5 times, I always take a break for a week or two, and then start over with low weights and work my way up and the same shit happens every fucking time as soon as I'm deadlifting ~130kg. My form is really good because I've been working on perfect form for so long since I can't get up to high weights.

Doc discovered it when I was 14. It doesn't ever bother me, although there is a chance that it makes me infertile (but that can be reversed with a surgery).

Not him but I'm 33 and have had that shit most of my life. Doesn't bother me except maybe 3 times a year I get that familiar dull ache for a couple days then it goes away.

Also recently started testosterone, balls shrink and enlarge between cycles and no problems still.

TL;DR: I have that shit but it doesn't seem to be worth exploring so I haven't

Also. Why is it always the left side??

Get a sonogram, also could be some sort of herniated obstruction near the groin region.

i dont have this things but i can see very small veins on my balls
is that normal

Yeah you're gonna get some varicose veins in your late 20s, just a heads up.

You should be doing cardio on rest days. Circulation is going to be important to you and me.

You sure you're pushing the floor away with your legs as the initial driver to the lift? Yes it's a back exercise but legs START the majority of the motion, with the majority of the full rom being back.

Dunno, your case sounds bad, could be time for surgery. My worst moment of pain were when i was most hormonal, so maybe the increased test is making your balls freak out, but i doubt it. Sounds like a circulation thing. How're your rest periods? Maybe rest a little more in betwren warmup sets.

Also, where specifically is the pain? If it's not in your actual nut, I'd start thinking it isn't the varicocele...

Have had it for about 3 years, went to the doctor (lady) ;). She felt my nuts and said it's varicocele and to come back if it gets bigger. It hasn't and I don't have them anywere else on my body. I have had an "ache" 2 or 3 times since I had it but it was never painful.

I've read that if it gets worse and too big the only answer is surgery. Wich has a chance to make you impotent.

Fuck that.

Trust me, low chance you're infertile, and my case was a bad one.

>Also, where specifically is the pain?
Not sure exactly, it's definitely on the left, feels sort partially in the actual nut and a bit above it, sort of like the kegel muscle.

Although afterwards, when I'm sitting around resting, I definitely feel it in/near the nut, exactly like regular varicocele ache.

All i can recommend concretely is cardio, dude. That or a doctor/surgery.

Good luck.

I had it a lot last summer, it started in the spring. Sometimes when my nuts weren't hanging down but were hold "up" by something like tight pants or when working out the veins to my right testicle would get tangled and swell up and get really hard and I would feel like shit and would have to take of my pants and kinda pull my testicle and massage the veins to get it to untangle, had it a few times this fall/winter but it only slightly ached

Got one. Left. Since always. Dull ache rarely. Does not affect lifts. 30 years old.
Have been told that if it ever really starts hurting is when it's a real problem.
If your manhood hurts, GO TO THE FUCKING DOCTOR BEFORE YOUR BALL DIES.

I have it too. Wear really loose pants and underwear it helps a lot. If it starts to hurt just gently massage it like this guy said.

had that since 15 it's annoying knowing it's there etc but besides that it does fuck all
plan on B&Cing in the not so distant future anyway which'll do much worse things to my balls than having varicose veins there

Holy jesus fucking christ. Everytime you say dragging pain my fucking balls ache. This is absolutely terrifying. I pray this never happens to me. Sorry dude.

Had it at 18, had surgery shortly after. Left testicle.
It's one of the most common surgeries on males next to appendicitis and phimosis

Appendix: I know americans are not too savvy on health but it DOES lower your fertility rate by default, as well as having the possibility to turn into more serious problems.

I advise anyone to get it operated while it's still manageable. The convalescence lasts 2-4 days and it's a really simple operation. So much that my surgeon was 25 years old.

Downsides: you get your peepee viewed by around 10 people while your tension levels are above norm so your penis looks minuscule.

i'm 32. i've had this for about 3-4 years on my left side. i've noticed since i've had it that my balls are constantly hiding. every once in a while a get an ache but only ever paniced the first time because now i know what it is. not sure about impotence part. doctor said it will be too warm for sperm to be healthy. he said IF there is a problem getting a girl pregnant then surgery will help. but surgery isn't necessary. you can also be able to get someone pregnant no problem as well.

OP or anyone else with variococele, don't worry about it.

I've had one since about 17. It has never bothered me and the girls never care, if they even notice it. I massage my testes and the veins daily. I don't know if this helps. But it feels good so I do it anyway. Also I feel like cardio is important, like other anons said. I went to a urologist years ago and he just nonchalantly said "it's a varicocele, do you want to get rid of it?" He made it seem like I was worried about nothing, so I skipped the surgery. The potential complications from the surgery freaked me out. However, if it starts hurting or grows larger I will probably get surgery. Also I would like to note that I never get pain from dead lifting or squatting. So I would further look into that.

I have a large one. It's defo shrunken my left testicle. I'm going to get it surgically fixed; it's proved to raise test levels.

Diagnosed when I was 18, 28 now, half a year ago my veins on the left side got bigger and after physical work they pulsate beginning to the left of the belly button and goes all the way to left testicle and under left buttcheek so I feel it when I sit. Doctor said NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT but I fucking do. It doesn't hurt but i feel all that shit pulsating every day.

It has made mine bigger, is that bad?
It hasn't increased in size since I noticed it couple of years ago.

You are lucky mate. I have a severe one on my left side. Somedays I am completely incapacitated by it and I have to lie down. My gym life is over until my surgery.

The problem is backed up blood, the blood pressure coming out of the left kidney over powers the bloodflow from the test teste. My advice if sans surgery would be to lower your blood pressure. It has been rightly pointed out that cardio is your best method. Unfortunately I've found running not the best lol with a big varicocele.

Also, you should wear supporting close fiting underwear. That has helped me. Not boxers. It is true that generally loose is better no help them cool off, but supporting the testes will help the pain for sure.

Got one when I was like 11 or 12, got surgery the next year cause it would ache every time I played basketball or anything remotely athletic.
My mom was a doc so our health insurance was pretty dece, but money notwithstanding the procedure itself is easy as fuck. They literally just make an incision right at the crook of your groin and inject tiny titanium balls into the vein, which promptly responds by withering up and dying.

21 now and never had another issue w/ the varicocele or other varicose veins. Why you guys are just gritting your teeth for it and not getting such an easy and safe procedure is beyond me.

It's likely not this but an inguinal hernia.

Gives that dragging, dull ache round the balls and inner thigh. If it hurts when heavy lifting, coughing and forcing a massive turd it's a hernia.

Have a feel around your groin area on both sides and see if there's any additional movements or bulges when coughing.

t. Somebody who has had hernia surgery 3 times

Seriously fuck this. Just going to kill myself

post pic of hernia

I'm 20, and I've had it for a few years, don't know how many. Last year it would hurt pretty bad sometimes, could never figure out why though. I started to do various things to try and shrink it naturally, which actually did work.

After a few months of working on my nuts, it doesn't bother me or hurt anymore.

WHAT THE FUCK

I have this shit since i'm 12 years old, but i was too scared to see a doctor because i thought i had a micropenis and she would make fun of me. It was also painful back then, but i don't feel anything now. I fucking knew it wasn't normal, but i wasn't able to find anything about it on the internet. But since i stopped feeling pain, i just didn't give enough fucks to do something about it. Thanks for putting a name behind this.

Do the freakin surgery before it's starts to hurt and before it fucks up your balls so hard you won't be able to have kids anymore

>implying i'm not a KHV loser

I use pic realted 1 teaspoon before night and in few days is 100% gone. The reason for that shit is inflamed colon in prostate/balls area. If you perform enemas and use herbs you dont have to worry about this shit.

also when you take a shit your colon must clean by itself and you either dont have to use toiler paper or toiler paper is almost clean after wiping your ass. Of course average musclehead dont give a shit about digestion healt not realizing digestion health is fucking everything.

There's your problem OP, your ballsack hurts and is bigger because your intestines have dropped into your nuts

Go to your doctor and get it sorted, assuming you live in england you'll wait 12 weeks or so for day surgery. The recovery is painful as fuck but you'll make a full recovery

what a load of shit.

Herbs are fucking useless

>you'll make a full recovery
Yeah but I won't be able to lift so what the fuck is the point man

but not DANDELION ROOT its powerfull as fuck. Before chemical crap it was used as medicine

you'll have 2 months off and then you can go mad again.

I hit cardio for about 8 weeks and then gently got back into weights.

Deadlifts are better than they have ever been (incidently that's what caused one for me)

>then you can go mad again.
Yeah man
>t. Somebody who has had hernia surgery 3 times

Seriously fuck this universe

Some people are just unlucky and prone to hernias. I had 2 repaired from a previous abdominal surgery that fucked me up.

The inguinal hernia was from lifting like a retard.

When you get them fixed the weakness is gone.

Unfortunately the longer you leave it the worse things get

Hot damn.

Could this shit cause transparent goo lumps to form within sperm?
They're like jello, or gummiworms, and cause the sperm to just drool out instead of shooting out like it's coming out of a hose.

Shit, I might have this.

Hello?

If I get checked for this can I shoot loads to the roof like others can?

Can I finally become a pornstar?

>If I get checked for this can I shoot loads to the roof like others can?
No you just need to do kegel exercises for that.

BRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAp

Have it all my life, I'm 23 now, strong as an ox. It's on my left nut, never had any pain or discomfort related to it. It seems to swell when I hold a shit in for a long time tho.

Adding in, I had one. In before 6am, out at 4pm bc I actually followed doc instructions and was mildly dehydrated. Took a while before I could piss and get released.

Aside from that the surgery is common, outpatient, and recovery is just a matter of eating like we do, what should get said more is that it isn't always heavy lifting that causes hernias. Get your fiber, don't sneeze too hard, etc.

And like me, don't have a fucked up pain tolerance and almost no tear, so that you had a hernia for near 10 years without knowing. It's scary as fuck when you wake up and the surgeon already has you in a private room to do discuss post-op care himself instead of the nurse

Have it. 15% of all men have it. Started when I was 26. Shit is annoying sometimes.

Happens in the left most of the time due to the 'common iliac vein' and other vessels taking a 90 degree bend on that side. The extra flow resistance of that sharp bend makes valve failure more likely and so that is why the worst of vericose veins and other vascular issues occur in the left groin, leg.

Forgot pic

Also had this shit since I was 14. Mistakenly thought it might be testicular cancer or some shit.
Seems to be a thing in like 75% of guys in my family. Fucking genetics.
This shit only hurts when it's really hot and it's at maximum sag so that it fucking bangs against your leg when you walk.
Just get it surgically removed. It looks ugly, lowers your fertility, and it sometimes hurts.
