Why do people sperg about sprimg collars and clamps? The weights wont fall off if the bar path is straight but they do move around. Collars prevent that.

I use them on my top sets for squats and deadlifts for that reason. Never use them on anything else, particularly bench - what happens if you get pinned and need to dump the weight?

Also if it go pinned on your neck (assuming you aren't flat chested), wouldn't it kind be tough to push it forward. I mean I could get when you can feel when you're losing it while going down you can move it towards your lower chest but you're screwed if it's locked on the neck.
