Eh, I don't know man. I believe that this law is bullshit and ripe for exploitation, but there are good women out there. I've had a couple of female friends (including my now gf) that all grew up listening to Tokyo Hotel and My Chemical Romance and are sensative as shit. This kind of abuse is completely real and kind of insidious. I don't borrow money from girlfriends anymore since that experience happened.

There were extenuating circumstances that prevented such an escape. Consider that some people don't have the means to just leave. If the alternative is homelessness, being abused is preferable, if only barely.

From another perspective, why shouldn't these people be forced to reconsider their actions?
