what? this manga is not inspiring at all. those who succeed in it are the ones who were truly gifted from the day one. uzumaki naruto was a son of one of the most powerful shinoby in their world and sasuke was perceived as extraordinary even among his battle hardened clan.

meanwhile rock lee didn't have shit going for him but his will of steel and guess how he ended up, he was cucked to hell by the end of the manga.

Hajime no Ippo is pretty good. Some of the characters are genuinely funny and Ippo isn't a gifted genius (even if he's not incompetent either) contrary to Takamura.
The last volumes have been really slow though and Takamura is starting to act like a cunt.
