honestly you could go either way. You could even just maintain if your just lifting for grillz. If it was me i'd bulk a bit longer though, maybe another 5~10lbs.

you're not gonna like the sound of this but.... i lift every 2 days, swithcing between intensity and volume days. pressing variations and deadlift variations only, volume day includes lots of upper back and bicep stuff. the day afterlifting i do some glute stuff (like kb swings or good mornings, just to keep them fresh), weighted neck exercises and banded upper body movements to keep my joints felein good

not so solid, bit of a recovering curlbro. One nice thing though is I'm pretty sure I could go up to 190-195lbs and still look good (not looking to be a mass monster)

im not gay breh... seriously though I'm flattered I suppose. Don't really have time to hold someone's hand though. full time student, part time job, in middle of prep for my first show, so I wouldn't do it for a friend at this moment, let alone some random guy on Veeky Forums. some things I'd recommend to any noob though (and in order of importance)

1.) read shit, dont think ive ever met anyone in great shape who really had no clue what they were doing or what they were eating etc. I have some friends who are IFBB pros now and some are dumb as rocks when it comes to most shit, but bring up nutrition or fitness and they're like encyclopedias. Also I really do mean READ too, don't go to social media "fitness gurus", a lot of them are great guys, help keep me motivated, ive met bradley martyn, jon skywalker, matt ogus, among others, but realistically they don't have your best interests in mind, they're trying to make a living off being a personality. Be holistic in your research/studies too.

2.) learn to eat. you've probably heard 50% diet / 50% workout nonsense, that's complete bullshit. getting shredded is more like 80% diet, 18% workout, 2% supplements.

3.) stay consistent. My best friend and I started lifting at same time and hes still pretty DYEL, hes gotten more serious now and im trying to help him out but he regularly says he regrets not staying consistent. pic related

4.) last one may not apply but try to lose your inhibitions. I notice a lot of new/smaller guys who workout like scared children, I mean its kind of funny but I also feel bad for them. I think i'm lucky I never felt that way, I get a good amount of looks in the gym, I think because I goof around a lot, and at this point cause I'm one of the bigger guys at my gym, especially now during my prep, but even when I first started I got looks because I would goof around and do weird ass shit, experimenting routines and shit. Really never gave a shit what people thought.
