For me I'd have to say flavored protein shakes. Can't wait to finish them so I can give the unflavored ones a shot.

How are you drinking your shakes user? I was the same until I saw a few recipes for breakfast shakes and it's been a total game changer. Here's one I usually have and i'll give you the nutritional info if you can't do it in your head.

Chai tea protein shake
>1 scoop protein powder (I usually use vanilla but i've used a straight hemp one before and it was just as good)
>1 frozen banana (You can skip this if you avoid fruit/are avoiding sugar or replace it with a compatible fruit lower in sugar.)
>1 teaspoon of almond butter (peanut butter can work as long as you don't eat sweetened peanut butter). I use crunchy because I like it but you should probably find sm
ooth
>1/3 cup coconut milk (or whatever milk you want, i'm lactose intolerant)
>1/2 cup to 1 cup of brewed chai tea (or any black tea)
optional:
>couple of shakes of nutmeg and cinnamon (don't do a pumpkin spice blend or anything cause they sometimes add sugar to them, better off adding spices you like manually).
>ice as needed (its better as a slushy consistence rather than a watery one but both are better than just the powder and milk/water

Blend it up and enjoy.

You can use hot tea since you're adding ice anyway, otherwise you can refrigerate it before hand if you have ice cube trays rather than an ice maker (you'll use a bit of ice cooling the tea down).

When I make it it's under 200 calories with the only sugar coming from the banana to sweeten it (and the coconut milk is just naturally a little sweet without being high in sugar, same with almond milk) so i never need more sugar than that. I skip the banana if my meals later in the day will have higher sugar (like a strawberry balsamic dressing i use once in awhile)

thanks for the tip. I just use 500 ml milk + 3 scoops of protein powder and its thick and okay tasting but it feels like medicine desu

It helped me like my protein powders (which is good because I have a few brands because I tried different ones to see if i just needed to find one i liked).

so this might help you get through it if you still want to be done with it once you're out.

I made a good one today with the same powder with a handful of mixed berries (frozen), ice, a cup of grapefruit juice (low in sugar), and a cup of carrot juice. I added some chia seeds because I see people online do it but i don't know what they actually do (I bought them to make chia pudding next time i have a craving)

Something I wish is that I could find a way to make cottage cheese not taste like moldy vagina to me. Ive never liked it and I think a lot of it is the texture for me.
But if canollis can improve the texture of ricotta, then there's gotta be an equivalent right?

i hate protein shakes too, but the unflavored ones are absolutely terrible and they're not """unflavored""" at all

i got some now foods unflavored protein and it wouldn't mix with anything, it would just overpower anything i put it in and taste like unflavored protein

just stick to normal chocolate whey, mix it with water, and slam it as quickly as possible

Hahaha I kinda do. I use them as meal replacement and I resolved this time around i wasn't going to eat food I didn't like and force myself through a diet. I eat things I like, i just track it all religiously and make healthy choices.

So the shakes are just perfect for me. If you go on pinterest and look up fitness protein shakes you'll find a bunch of good recipes that are easily adjustable to fit your needs and tastes!

One by Oster that I got at Target. I think it was $50 but they had one that was 10 less with no discernable difference between them (They both even come with a cup to pour it into) so i just said "fuck it" and got the pricier one just in case (in case of what? Fuck if I know. I'm an impulsive shopper)

I was using a nutribullet before this but it's absolute trash at crushing ice. This one does it like a champ.

Make a healthy burrito bowl once in awhile and eat the beans with the rest of the ingredients (Chicken, make a homemade quickie salsa, and some guac. ) or make a chili (i use boca burgers to make a meatless one once in awhile and don't notice much of a difference because of all of the spices). Chili can make huge batches that you can freeze and heat up when you need a quick meal

Just made lentil stew literally one hour ago.

>fry onions in a big pot for a few minutes
>add lentils (after you strain them for water) and mix
>add water until its a stew
>add chili and curry powder
>put in a bowl
>fry bacon separately and put it on top
>eat it with toast

it blows me away every time how delicious and easy to make it is.

what i do make a GIANT ASS salad full of delicious awesomeness, and then add an entire big thing of sprouts. so the sprouts are kinda outnumbered but there are a TON of them still. being vegan you have to eat like massive amounts of plant matter to get the same kinda benefits as meat. and i am trying to up my protein game.

it's not completely terrible i guess. i always feel really accomplished after eating a massive salad with a ton of sprouts. feels like i defeated the salad lol.

yeah idk why i dislike them. most vegetables are delicious. feel like my tastebuds are different than most because i legit crave veggies a lot. sprouts though are ugh :(

I feel the same way about broccoli. When I'm having like 17-20 different types of veggies nightly, they at least outnumber the broccoli. Thankfully I still love the green peas and kale and beans wing of the dark greens.

Unflavoured is a fucking revelation, it gives you so much flexibility with being able to build your protein shakes/smoothies. I personally like 2 scoops of unf whey protein, 1 scoop superfood green powder, 1/2 tbsp nesquick, 1 cup mixed strawb and blueb, and 2 cups milk.

Huge tiddy brown girls are the only acceptable kind. They're lucky they have that gene floating around there somewhere.

as a fellow pajeet i recommend you do things the indian way and just use your own homemade yogurt.

alternatively if you don't have a good sample to use for culture/are lazy here are some options (you can use multiple of them at the same time too):

>use pickled vegetables as a side
>add lemon juice, salt, and chili powder
>add water and stir if you want to lower the consistency. most greek yoghurts are too
>mix with cottage cheese and shredded non/lowfat cheese for that mad dairy protein boost
>mix with whey protein if you're feeling like you really can't get enough dairy protein
>add chaat masala
>add enough water that you can drink it. I know it's technically wrong but we always used the term 'buttermilk' for this growing up. (tamil family in the states, for reference) yoghurt + water + black salt + black pepper was the mix

what kind of sprouts? green gram sprouts (moong dahl) are pretty fucking great (phenom protein - fat - carb ratio and g protein/g mass ratio) but imo taste like ass raw so I cook them and make rajma

soybean sprouts (the kind you see on pad thai, thick water stems) have a much higher fat content, lower carb content, and slightly high protein content so you can't abuse them like mung beans to meet your protein goals. still better than a lot of options though.
