those castles are worthless garbage. All they can do is slow down an enemy advance. Which they did, multiple times, while the entire country gets looted and raped. Like the HRE, England, and Italy have to numerous conquerors.

Horse Archers are OP
they're OP in Historical RTS games and are OP IRL history

The only flaw is that in both cases you have to have god-tier control and patience with them. They need to emphasize speed and dexterity so they don't have too much armor and are fragile if they get touch (but first they have to touch them), most of their arrows will bounce of armor and shields, even those "piercing" bows you have to get close to them and even then piercing armor and shields doesn't mean you'll actually hurt the solider, your archers have to aim and fire constantly while they are on the move which requires quite a bit of skill, and naturally you run out of arrows. Horse archers are even more OP in running away since they are already far away from any army it's difficult to chase them down. When Huns ran out of arrows they just ran the fuck away, but the Mongols decided to keep some regular cavalry at bay to ambush anyone smart enough to run after their retreating. Infantry are much easier to manage and regular cavalry are much more exciting to be apart of but if you got skill and good bow techniques you get horse archers.

Only problem is which the Huns and Mongols easily remedied by getting people who can siege.
