Outsourcing allows giant corporations to pay slave wages to poor people in third world countries while the working class in first world countries lose their jobs. It also requires a capitalistic framework for it to work, so of course leftists will oppose it.

They'' switch to a service market just like everybody else and in China's case the other countries that can do their stuff are not up to par currently in either sheer numbers or tech.

China is too much of a corrupt, bureaucratic mess to compete with the west in the services sector. There is virtually nothing more attractive about the Chinese market over the United States here.
