Is he right?

Is he right?

>Capitalism came from the aristocratic class
Literally not even Karl Marx thinks this, the bourgeoisie rose up to oppose and replace the aristocracy according to most leftists doctrines I've ever known.

Workers started businesses, not the archaic nobility. Working conditions did worsen (at least for the first hundred years of capitalism) before things started to get better.

The sad thing is that humerous memes like the OP are what get remembered by people rather than the actual events because they are more complicated and less funny/meme-worthy.

The original bourgeois were small-time bankers and merchants who were neither lords nor serf

this almost makes me mad because the peasant wars were literally rooted in Peasants using their labor as a market commodity and nobles telling them that they can't demand higher wages and couldn't go find other jobs

Yes.

No. Feudalism economic underpinnings were based around a system of exchange that had a lot to do with social recirpocation, and very little to do with money.

Existential comics was bearable until he hired an artist and spent his time shitposting on Facebook and Twitter. He's revealed a lot about his ignorance in his endless stream of pithy shit-stirring aphorisms.

The feudal lords lost the most from the end of feudalism.

>Leftist intellectuals

No.

Yup.

>implying today's CEOs are the same people as yesterday's fuedal lords

>American understanding of history
The capitalists were the ones who overthrew the feudal lords.

Honestly I think he's got tired when he hired the artist even though he said he still had ideas, most of them are now awful. I think he just shitposts for attention and revenue stream. I'm not sure if it's genuine ignorance so much as he just shitposts for attention for revenue. It's like that youtube guy in the news recently who basically has a shitposting channel for money.

>the bourgeoisie and the aristocracy were literally the same people
no

Even if it were true, is it really any worse than 'what if we make serfs work dawn till dusk on starvation diets, and if even one turnip is unaccounted for we'll send our knights in to rape everyone in their pissant villages?'

>existential comics twitter
the guy who defines centrist as being okay with the status quo?

He is partially right in that, as the supply side of the labor market, workers are more likely to sell their labor if they can offer a lower price than the competition.

But like most twitter nobodies, he oversimplifies the issue by ignoring the multitude of factors that allow the working class to flourish in well managed market economies, like education, specialized skills, and a sufficiently high number of firms looking to hire workers.

This STUPID FUCKING MORON also ignores the fact that SERFS WERENT FUCKING PAID MONEY BEFORE THEY WERE GIVEN WAGES and that the compensation they received was being allowed to be alive on the lords land.

People this dumb shouldn't be taught to write so they can spread their disease to other people.

>American education

No and it's absolutely retarded because feudal nobility were the capitalist bourgeoise greatest enemy.

no, also wild badgers shall feast on his conkers

>allowing trannies to btfo (you)

>couldn't go find other jobs
>join the army

>Actually implying that feudal monarchy and divine right absolute monarchy are the same thing
Why do these people smell their own farts so much?

The first capitalists were independent craftsmen and merchants who sold and traded for profit. The rise of capitalism brought an end to monarchies

"wait a minute what if everything was free?"

there are so many things wrong with this
homage/payment to lords (which covered rents, protection, justice, use of the mill, use of the manor ovens, etc) was made IN KIND.
lords would do whatever they could to continue being "noble" and this included the OPPOSITE of what OP describes. they wanted more estates, not more "money" and profit was generally frowned upon with respect to the noble. lords selling surplus? no longer noble. literally erased from the register.
too tired to go on, but anyone with a grasp of france through 100 yrs war knows.
capialism arose in free towns with guilds, market days, interest-based money lending. not on the estates of nobility.

>implying these people know or even give a shit about any of that

most western communist, or socialist, or anti-capitalist ect. are just lazy retards who envision a system in which people get taxed and then the money is just given to them so they can spend all day playing with their dicks without having to work. They are basically wannabe slave masters. I garuntee you they all have a patreon account for doing absolutely nothing.

Listen here.

He is not right, because fundamentally he is detached from reality. Does this fucking retard seriously think you don't get more money if you work more?

Now here is absolute retardation: believing either of the following scenarios.

Lets denote the amount of hard work done by (x).

Belief 1 is $ = x

Belief 2 is $ = (1/x)

Having either of these views is fucking retarded, but this man seems to have belief two for some reason, the only view more retarded than belief number one.

Congrats, fucking retard. You are the laughing stock of the human race for this stupid twitter post.

Oh, so that's the reason the south freed their slaves and allowed them to compete on the free market willingly so America didn't have to go through a fucking civil war.

I swear to god I've been on this board for only 15 minutes and you guys are all retards. I'm going back to Veeky Forums

Kek, it gets better user.

No he's right, this board is the ultimate den of brainlets. There are people here who unironically believe the French revolution was started by peasants, or that CIA funded the Taliban, and actually become angry and lash out at you if you correct them. It's on the same level as reddit and cracked.com comment section or possibly even dumber.

nice trips, and I appreciate your imput

when thinking about capitalism, we all easy go blame the nobility/burgoise/the rich

>this is the average American's understanding of history

>unironically presenting feudalism as a superior system

fucking this jesus christ. none of the most notable and wealthiest capitalists of the last 400 years have been of traditional landed nobility

These are the people thay uniroincally think capitalism is right wing and that traditional hierarchies of power support it. There is no reasoning with them.
