squat twice a week. Once a week just isnt enough for your legs (massive muscle group).

If you drop to once a week you'll notice definite strength losses within 2-3 months. I got friends on brosplits doing legs once a week and their bench is catching up to their squat. Thats no bueno

Well I'll tell you why I was confused. SS is known for the fact that It focuses on the squat, done 3 on every day.

That means that you should see more development in your quads, lower back, posterior chain, and to a lesser extent your hamstring and glutes.

In your case your best muscle groups are your biceps and your lats/rear delts. Do you have a really good bent over row or something?

Yeah, I've only been lifting for 15 months. Chest is naturally strong, legs not so much. I can bench 225 for reps at 170, but struggle to squat 225 4 times
