I got my first one at 210lbs bw. Its much more about technique than anything else.
I got it by just doing the most explosive pull-ups possible at the beginning of EVERY workout until I got high enough to throw my elbows over the bar.

I can't do a non-explosive bar muscle up yet. (i can do one on rings but its 10x easier) Not that many people can. The strength required to use no momentum for a bar muscle up is crazy.
