I've been training for 8 months. I have bulked too hard, bulked too slow, had weeks that probably add up to months where I was spinning my wheels because I didn't get off my novice routine.
I have learned a lot about proper diet and form, made many mistakes along the way.
I only bench 160 for my 1RM but I am proud of that so far because I am over 6feet tall and skinny, I also have 10-11 percent bodyfat so to me, it's a good start.

Side note, fuck the fit community's obsession with measuring lifts in relation to body weight. Me being 6'5" doesn't aid my bench or squat in any way, it actually hurts them. It seems like a way to make manlets feel overly satisfied with babby lifts.

To be fair the mechanics of the lift are significantly altered by the length of your limbs. And of course a person with a larger frame can support more muscle and weighing more will lead to being stronger. I'm 5'6" and I don't use it as an excuse to belittle people who are bigger and stronger. But at the same time I wouldn't want my friend who weighs 50 lbs more than me to think that we're at the same level of strength because he can bench as much as me. But like I said and I'm short and biased.

Yeah but the mechanical alterations are quite negative, as a the force of the weight being applied further from the fulcrum of my shoulder against the force of my pec in a class 3 lever creates more difficulty.
