There's a huge variety in height/size among other animals as well, but since you're not really interested in them and most likely rarely interact with any non-humans, you're obviously less perceptive to that and don't have any actual data to prove your point.

There are countless examples of significant variations in different populations that are considered to be part of the same race for example the dominant Haplogroup in Poland is R1A whilst in France it is R1B, in Pakistan the dominant Haplogroup is also R1A yet Polish and Pakistani people are not considered to be part of the same race
