What times do you guys eat your meals for optimal cutting? Do you skip breakfast or lunch or something?

I've been doing great with my diet and exercise and lost two stone since around February.
But every so often I just get intense cravings and I'll fucking go out to the local cornershop and spend a tenner on crap like bags of doritos and chocolate and eat it all in one day until I feel physically sick and I'll hate myself for it.

I've still been keeping up my exercise routine and it hasn't been impacting my weight loss that badly but it feels fucking terrible losing perhaps multiple days of progress in the space of a few hours.

I've never had any before but would it be worth it to get myself some appetite suppressants?

Are you letting yourself get too hungry? I get some pretty intense cravings too but I find that it only happens if I wait too long for my next meal. I have my whole day planned out and I eat when I start to get mildly hungry. Been working well.

Also if I know I'm going to be in a situation where I will be temped a lot or have to go a long time without eating.. I may or may not use something with pseudoephedrine in it. Which suppresses appetite.

Idk if I'm one to give any advice. On one hand if you think you need hunger suppressants to not bing maybe you need them. But on the other hand, you need to learn to curve your horrible habits. What's to stop you from giving in to them once your off the suppressants?

I know it's not a good idea to weigh yourself more than once a week but honestly I like to keep track and it's a reminder to not fuck up again. I know that feel bro. I fucked up for a day and a half, and I know it sets me back a few days but the point is to keep going.

I've fucked up a few times but I never thought to myself "fuck it, I still look and feel like a fat pig, I'm just going to eat whatever the fuck I want, to hell with this diet". As long as you get back on the horse, that's all that matters.

Personally I do it because of shit like that where my weight varies 3-4 pounds a day. Ill rather weigh myself everyday and keep track of the daily trend than weigh myself once a week and see the scale stay the same for a fucking month when I know I've been losing weight.

Check out my fasting thread Sometimes it is easier to just not eat than struggle to stay within calorie range. Pretty sure I can find multiple sources saying that "calorie counting" is designed to fail. Even if you lose weight, it's incredibly easy for you to slip back into bad habits. There's a reason less than 5% of obese people who lose weight keep it off. Calorie counting is a meme designed for failure because it doesn't address your relationship with food - it simply turns food into numbers and we all know you've eaten bad shit if it fits your calories. Fix your body, including your metabolism, with fasting.

So, how long does eating high sodium carby foods effect you? My family likes to eat pizza on Fridays. This is fine, as I've built my calories around this. (My daily average on MFP is around 1500 calories) The problem is that I think it really affects how much I weigh on Sundays when I weigh myself. Also, I've been eating lots of pickles and sunflower seeds as low calorie snacks, but they're super high in sodium.

I've been drinking more water to offset this, but it seems like I've weighed 256-258 this entire month. Last Friday, I weighed 256 before I ate. This Friday I weighed 256 after lunch, and weighing myself today before eating, I'm 256.

Every pothead I've ever met says how great weed is and that there are no downsides or addictive qualities, yet every single one of them is the bitchiest cunt I've ever met if they can't get stoned

Skip breakfast and lunch. Have dinner around 530 pm.

Intermittent fasting is nice if you have a big appetite and you need help keeping your calories under control. You don't really get that hungry, and since you're only having that one meal, it prohibits snacking.

Like let's say you're mum bought some junk food. You won't be tempted to grab a cookie cause ur fasting. And when you do have your meal, you make sure it's filling clean foods that fill you up while still being under your calorie limit.

Drink water whenever, it helps offset hunger. I usually have 1200-1600 calories a day rice chicken and veggies. I only drink water.

Your body adapts to higher calories like anything else. Your appetite will increase as well.

just cut your fat intake as low as possible and add some light excercise. lower meat and eliminate dairy. eat mainly potatos and rice.

consider maybe excercise bike or something like thataltought with your weight better just lose weight with diet at first cause excercise with that weight will be easily too harsh for your body and limbs.

Starvation mode doesn't exist. If you don't feel like eating you don't need to. Just try to eat as healthy as possible and drink enough water.

I've walked 2 miles a day since Tuesday with very few problems. It doesn't really make sense considering my weight.
