>no it isn't it's
Yes it is, his equipments are Celtic especially the winged helmet
>Batavi rebel.
Thus a Celt
Batavi weren't Celts.
no, the batavi were virile BLACK men
gets me everytime
Celts never wore winged helmets, that's a myth.
the helmet was found at Krefeld near a roman fort dated to the time of the Batavian revolt.
pic related a reconstruction.
>The Batavi were an ancient Germanic tribe that lived around the modern Dutch Rhine delta in the area that the Romans called Batavia, from the second half of the first century BC to the third century AD.

>vikipedia said that
Tacitus wrote that the Batavi split off from the Chatti after an internal dispute. If the Chatti were Germanic, we can conclude that the Batavi were also Germanic. Tacitus, Strabo and Pliny the Elder all agree that the Chatti were Germanic. Hence, the Batavi were Germanic.
>Tacitus, Strabo and Pliny the Elder all agree that the Chatti were Germanic
Meanwhile in reality
You are of course aware that the area inhabited by the Chatti is completely blank on that map?
The one inhabited by the Gauls(Batavi) isn't
Most of their land is actually blank or 10%
And so are Gallia Cisalpine and Wales, the remainign 90% are Roman names.
>the remainign 90% are Roman names
Proof?
And this doesn't prove that the Batavi were Celtic anyway. As mentioned earlier, the Batavi split off from the Chatti after an internal dispute. They then migrated to the region we now associate with the Batavi, probably establishing themselves over a Celtic population. It's not unusual for place-names to be retained despite migrations.
Why isn't he black?
